this was inspired by both rrthiel’s original and especially joy’s cover as you might can tell! this is my first time using furnace and it’s fantastic. the only tracker ive used is LSDJ before now... i just get this weird paralysis whenever i try to learn a pc-based tracker, so that’s been a big roadblock for me.

however, ive been growing more and more unsatisfied with fl studio for chiptune now. im continuing to become more ambitious with what i want to do and accomplish with my chiptune, things that are really difficult in fl. (which, last month i was working on a cover that really abused the hell out of Genny’s controls lol. maybe ill transcribe it over to furnace and finish it one day) this has unfortunately caused me a lot of burnout, if you couldn’t tell by my soundcloud page. i talked about a lot of this in the soundcloud description for [MMC5] Mixed Match - Tetris & Dr. Mario, so i’m not going to copy and paste all of it here. if you’re curious to read, feel free.

on the bright side, this is also doubling as my first time really doing anything with 2xYM2612! im really excited to see what the other chips here have in store for me, now that im no longer limited to just whatever vsts exist

also i need to reclaim my role of ginger root superfan chiptunist so that was also a factor

this track i was unable to finish because as it was being Modified in  fl studios, it suddenly froze and i couldn't save the rest of it. luckily when i started, i was able to save what i had done halfway before the program stopped working.

Other than that i still love it!^-^ wished i could have finished the whole track though.

Motivation In Battle!(unfinished) BATTLE-THEME CONCEPT

Hey to all! ;) Hope everything has been well! apologies for my inactivity! Life has been getting in the way of it. But i'm ok and doing just fine! ^-^
Anyway, I actually had made this theme back last year in November! Between having to use the spare laptop and still using my main one, I'm using this other one a bro of mine gave me to make music through another program called Ultrabox. I'll probably make smaller shorter themes here on this one!

Hey there! (Character who meets you for the first time)

Electric guitar is a Stratocaster hooked up to an amp and reverb pedal, played by my dad. Keys, synths, and bass played by me live on my Korg Karma. Acoustic drums recorded on my phone and played live on my kit.

I made this in about six hours for a Battle of the Bits contest. It's a little messy, but I loved the idea and wanted to at least submit something.

Sidereal Cycles

Started as a chord practice, ended up being one of my favorite songs yet. I've been learning scales on keyboard, and it really helps me write much nicer sounding chords. I also think this is far and away my best melody writing, genuinely one that I am proud of. I made this in two days (yesterday and today!) and was so much fun writing. I find I write the best music when I don't stress about the end result and just let it flow.

I hope everyone can come to look at my Music when you have the time!^-^ I'm a 32 year old who  loves Video games, and anime. it seems that i had an inspiration in making Fanmade-Soundtrack, Mostly rpg's battle themes, upbeat themes,  Hype battling Moments, from sad and suspenseful moments! i mostly do these from time to time and it's been so much fun!
