Soulection Radio Show #308 ft. Peanut Butter Wolf (Stones Throw)

Solid Steel (2nd June) It's a special Stones Throw takeover this week, with label founder Peanut Butter Wolf heading up the show exactly 20 years after he first appeared on Solid Steel in 1997 (which you can also hear at http://solidsteel.net/broadcasts/1069), followed by jazz drummer and producer extraordinaire Karriem Riggins. 

Back in the summer of 1997, Peanut Butter Wolf paid a visit to the Ninja Tune studio in Clink Street, South London to record a mix. His label Stones Throw had started the year before and a handful of those early tracks featured in his mix. Two decades later Stones Throw is still going strong, having seen releases over the years from the likes of Madlib and his alter ego Quasimoto, MF Doom, J Dilla, Cut Chemist, J Rocc, The Stepkids, Dam Funk, Jonwayne and a whole host of quality reissues. His new mix contains some unreleased Stones Throw tracks alongside some incredibly rare gems and he told us; 
"I tried to include a combo of my old records, some yet-to-be released Stones Throw stuff and some unreleased demos from artists w/o a label. Hope you enjoy every second of every song."
