#59 Feel Again

The 59th set under my alias AREA 030 is called Feel Again. Of course every set is special 😊, but some just a bit more than other. Some of them are benchmarks for me, with a title which also can be interpreted in several ways. And yes, for me #59 Feel Again is a benchmark. 

The deeper meaning:
As you may know, I suffer from depression. Winter is approaching, winter time has literally started, which kind of scares me. How am I going to get through the dark winter days? 
My survival mode is to turn off my feelings, so that I don't feel that depression either. But as we all know….there are no highs without the lows. This creates a kind of a split personality during the winter months (to be honest, during the whole year, but in the winter months I am more aware of it).
#59 Feel Again is about that balance. Feel, but don’t feel too much. 

The ‘less’ deeper meaning:
As the music scene of progressive trance, progressive house, melodic techno is growing, the quality of the tracks which are released are not getting better in my opinion. Just like the Trance scene nowadays, the production of a track is based on a template over and over again. In my opinion the tracks released in the progressive scene before, were production wise much more complicated and exciting. 
#59 Feel Again is about that feeling. I want to feel the heart in a production (again), not only the DAW template.

Gorgons Eye Profound Radio 014 [The Unknown]

What do air pollution, thunderstorm clouds and climate change have in common? Aerosols! These tiny particles, generated by everything from desert dust storms to car exhaust, play a huge role in our atmosphere, affecting our health when we breathe them in and even changing the weather. NASA's Curious Universe: Tiny but Mighty

Colorado has been a hotbed of talent in the electronic music scene over the years, bringing the community artists who have explored a range of genres from dubstep to house and everything in between. One producer from Denver who has truly embraced the dynamic nature of the dance music scene is none other than UnderLux. This rising artist has released everything from indie dance and breaks to dubstep and progressive house since the project began, and he's clearly not stopping anytime soon.

This year has seen UnderLux continue his rise through the ranks of the scene. He dropped off self-released tracks like "Where Are You At" and "Tequila Tasting" and a remix of Maddy O'Neal and Rodrick Malone's "Follow Me" before teaming up with the two artists for "Here's to You" in the midst of the summer. A quick trip to the indie dance realm on "Cry Star" led UnderLux to explore the progressive house realm once again on his latest EP, Hacking The Circuits.

UnderLux wasn't just focused on studio work this year either, as he consistently took the stage throughout Denver and other reaches of North America to play some impressive sets. Now, as the year begins to wind down, we had the chance to catch up with him to discuss the past, present, and future of his career.
