Welcome to Episode 5 of the 22 Digit Deep Tech House Podcast series, this month with special guest "Tom Ellis".

One of the core members and residents of the free rotation festival and a Uk underground Stalwart, Tom Ellis joins the Classic Family later this year with his first EP scheduled for September.

Previous releases on 22 digit, Etheral sound and moon harbour to name but a few are why Tom continues to shine and impress worldwide.

Following the great response of their first release, London-based label OTHERTONES have pushed the boundaries once more with another exciting set of productions. This time the task falls to Antony Difrancesco and his Latency EP to continue the label’s rise in acclaim and respect.

An artist that has steadily built up his reputation as one of the most promising talents on the underground circuit, Antony is here free to showcase the true range of his expertise. ‘Jam’ is a prime example of the depth of his influences, infusing the traditional house blueprint with an intangible air of ambience. On Side B, ‘Dimplex’ offers further proof of this and, in keeping with the ethics of the label, is complete with a remix from the ever-elegant and highly respected Vera.

Another showcase of the sound that has become synonymous with the label, Latency is an EP that is rooted in the underground whilst still creating a sound firmly embedded in the future.

Initially starting out as the solo-project of lead-singer Casper Indrizzo, the band came together in 2013 and recently played alongside the Flaming Lips in the U.S. Set to play their first European dates in October, they also appear alongside J Mascis and My Morning Jacket on the track Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band on Wayne Coyne’s forthcoming Beatles tribute album With A Little Help From My Fwends.
