An attentive aural curator, generous musical selector and obsessive sonic collector, Mau Maioli is a reliable source of the type of expertise we hold in the highest regard and a beacon of the sort of constant change that we love to see everywhere, be it in his native Caxias do Sul, where he is an active part of the lively local scene, or in mixes such as this one, where he feels free to show much of what makes him a beloved and respected artistic presence wherever he goes.

Here is the place to be if you live it to the fullest and the place to come if you love it the most, mainly because we manage to make this space both a gathering place for everyone and a repository for their precious offerings. But, more than being a part of this community, what truly gives us joy is to see it thriving, especially when fresh talent such as this week’s guest joins the fray of our ever-growing family. Nana Kohat is a young and gifted DJ whose special blends of rhythmic frolic and melodic madness create dancing concoctions that are quite hard to resist whenever they invade our ears to flood our minds and conquer our bodies. Results she achieves with a remarkable sense of place and time for each track at every moment, forming captivating sequences that create motion while generating emotion. This very ingenuity and the sensibility is what she offers in every one of her mixes, the same she brings to this one and we are glad to share here.

DJing since 2004, Fernando Nascii's relationship with electronic music has been as consistent and creative as his performances behind the decks. Despite the musical references undeniably rooted in House Music, Nascii also transits and flirts with mastery with genres such as disco, acid house and techno. It was precisely this versatility that led Nascii to create the Gop Tun collective, party and record label that has given prominence and deeply altered the scene of electronic music in Brazil. Gop Tun, on all fronts, became a fertile ground for Nascii's talent to find the space needed to grow and, as a result, start traveling Brazil and the world to play in clubs, parties and festivals. If you see Nascii in a booth the footwork will be natural and constant just in the same way as he travels through the music.
