I am a guitarist/songwriter/recording engineer who has recently discovered a love for making beats.  I will always love picking up a guitar and banging out a new song, but the recording process for organic music can be extremely stressful and occasionally frustrating if you are 100% DIY solo artist.  I have found that producing music entirely from inside my DAW (with OCCASIONAL exceptions to plug back in or mic back up) has freed me a great deal creatively by eliminating a lot of the stress of engineering and producing home recording sessions.  I will continue to more organic music on periodic basis, but to avoid burnout I am focusing my energy primarily on making beats at this time.  Enjoy!
