Out of the great variety of styles that Valique utilizes as a producer, musician, composer and DJ his particular attention has recently been given to various forms of acid music.

This would not be a simple repetition of "well-softwerized" clichés, but rather exploring the alternative potential that synth-based music has in modern world. The demands of the contemporary dance-floor, the pressure of technology has somehow shaded the power of soul music, complex composition of early disco, dance potential of boogie and funk.

Music has been simplified to serve the needs of rocking the crowd, but spirit is often gone without spoken word, well-sung piece and good solo. So putting together what once has been a true engine of house music - acid house, in mix with modern state of live music, here we come - the adventure!

On this release Valique presents a collection of five unique remixes he did lately fitting into his wide-style through acid nu disco, house and funk blends from artists: Smoove & Turell, Timewarp inc, Niles Philips, Quincy Jointz and Alex Savanin.

We're delighted to premiere 'Razor' from New Zealand based seven-piece, Fat Freddy's Drop, taken from their forthcoming album, ‘BAYS’, out on October 23rd 2015.

Following the worldwide success of ‘Blackbird’ in 2013, the band are back with a 9-track LP recorded at the band’s BAYS Studio in Kilbirnie, Wellington a former 1950s HMV vinyl pressing plant. The lead single features the now signature sound of the band, beautifully melding reggae and jazz aesthetics with techno production.

Resurrectors are a 9 piece dub reggae band from Redfern, Sydney comprising an eclectic mix of local talent as well as musicians originally from Barbados, South Africa, England and New Zealand.

The band features some of Sydney’s finest musicians. Cameron Deyell plays in Bertie Blackman’s and Inge Lilestrom’s bands. Jon Pease tours nationally in Paul Mac’s band. Declan Kelly has released a solo album which was quite successful in its own right. Peter Firth is also a permanent member of Kingtide.

Healing is the band’s debut album and has already won them some talented fans:
The album features a bonus remix of the title track by Fat Freddy’s Drop producer and main man DJ Fitchie.

Resurrectors are an amazing live and will be touring extensively on the back of the album. Launches planned for Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane and Byron Bay. Already they have supported top dub acts including Fat Freddy’s Drop and the Black Seeds.

The album combines great songwriting and soulful performance with a social conscience and in doing so delivers a very powerful and compelling musical message. This is great music made by people living in Australia and singing about Australian subjects. The band tap into a rich and soulful tradition whilst presenting their sound in a current and contemporary style.
