Out of humble roots, Niamey based Toumastine began as a group of friends coming together from across many regions. The group released their first album Tahnafet in early 2018 and has not slowed down since.  

Inspired by acts such as Bombino, Bob Marley and Tinariwen, Toumastine’s music remains rooted in tradition carrying the mesmerizing riffs of Tuareg music, while incorporating modern rock styles with more varied chord progressions. Toumastine has finished recording their second album “Assouf” which will be released in 2021.
