I started mixing vinyl in the late 90's on my Technics 1210's, mainly so I could make my own mix tapes. I also raved all through the 90's and still raving now tbh 😜🙌 I started with house, trance and minimal/techno, but now  play mostly trance, which I'm a little bit obsessed with tbf 😍 for years though, never really took it any further than private party's. 

 Fast forward to recent years. I bought a digital controller over lockdown and got back into it! I never really had any ambition to play in clubs, but when lockdown ended I was given the opportunity by local DJ Dale Castell to play for his brand, Our House Events in Leeds 🔥 I'll be forever grateful for this and always appreciate the experience! It was a dream come true really 🙏

After discovering the hard house scene in London from 1999-2001, I returned to Sydney and quickly embraced DJ'ing at local hard dance events. Life events put my passion on hold until Covid hit and The Lockdown Legends Facebook group sparked my love for music again. Now, my goal is simple: to share and enjoy hard house, hard trance, and house music with fellow enthusiasts, without any grand ambitions for world DJ domination.

E.V.P - Electronic Virtual Psychedelia

Alex Diplock has been producing psychedelic trance under the name E.V.P since 1995. Including his side project RealityGrid Alex has already released 7 solo albums, and more recently his first digital only E.P - 'Wildscape' (WildEP 008). The release exploits the legendary Kyma sound design system and many other high end tools such as 3D spatial audio processing to produce a truly immersive and cinematic experience on the dance floor.

His uniquely positive, groovy and deeply psychedelic approach to music production and also mastering business Wild Mastering has earned him well deserved respect among the global production community.

Originating from psychedelic rock music he first attended Guitar Tech at brunel university at the age of 16, however deciding that electronic production was his path, he began with electronic music production. He later obtained his production skills learning to record, mix and master rock bands using SSL mixing consoles and pro-tools with Logic audio back in 2000, after which he obtained an RSA approved level 3 GNVQ studio engineer certificate.

Along with Beardy Weardy he runs Wildthings Records delivering all the creative aspects including album covers, promo graphics and website content and also A&R. He has been traversing the globe spreading the music to far off lands for a number of years now stimulating minds and bodies globally, and has now long been a regular fixture in the international festival circuit. He also works professionally in the field of Motion Capture, and 3D interactive software & show development.

In the last 10 years Alex has played in more than 60 countries, ranging small parties to huge festivals his festival bookings among others have included Soulclipse festival Turkey, Universo Parallelo Brazil, Nagisa Festival Japan, Exodus and Super Freak Festival Australia, Hadra Festival France, Aurora Festival Brazil, Intriyami festival Peru, Universal Religion Nepal, Future Nature Festival Croatia and Ozora festival, Boom Festival, Blackmoon, Momento Demento festival and many others.

He is now working with creative partner and mastermind programmer DJ Apex (Neil Mendoza) to create a Next Gen 3D/AV experience.

JLF is a DJ on mission to bring the fun and party vibe back into hard house and make it once again accessible to the masses.

Carving his own niche with high energy sets packed full of mashups and reworks of his own creation, his over-the-top edits are a combination of classic tracks, acapellas and unreleased material – tongue in cheek bootlegs that whip the crowd into a frenzy and leave them begging for more…

The last 2 years have seen sets at Fixate, Happy Vibes and Anarchy, the Sundissential North livestream and an acclaimed performance at The Tidyland Weekender to round it all off. He counts heavyweights like Amber D, Jon Hemming and General Bounce amongst his fans and is slowly amassing the kind of adulation usually reserved for legacy artists – a recognition of his unique approach to DJing and performance.

He’s had 20 tracks released since 2021 with another 10 slated for 2024, with his music showing up on labels including Tidy Trax, Cheeky Tracks, Boxt and Faculty One. His productions have support from industry titans Hannah Laing, Viviana Casanova, Yomanda, The Tidy Boys, Andy Farley, Amber D, Digital Mafia, General Bounce and Jon Hemming and have featured on numerous albums and compilations.

Josh is now looking to focus on making the transition to headlining and supporting established headliners, whilst working through his bucket list of major brands to represent and target labels to release with.

I'm a DJ, I play other people's music (with the odd production masterpiece)....I mix & blend using my brain and hands, no sync or mixing desk here, just a basic set up with a couple of tiny 300's, some 1210's from 1992 and an amp from 1997 :D

Heavily influenced in the early 70’s by my fathers taste in Electronic music /Kraftwerk/Jean Michel Jarre, Tangerine Dream, I was also a big Vangelis & Moroder fan growing up. My teenage years in the 80’s consisted of listening to early 80’s Hip Hop & Electro, Key-Matic, Man Parrish, Bambaata & SSF, Eric B & Rakim. I lived in East London where street breakdancing/body popping was at its peak. Alternative to electrical music I was also a big fan of revival Ska/Two tone bands throughout the late 70’s early 80’s and still am to date.

My DJ’ing journey all started on the London M25 Acid House Warehouse scene back in 1988/89 which inspired me to learn to mix House & Techno in 1990.  I pretty much love most genre's/sub genre's of Dance Music and  mix it all from vinyl to digital.



In 1991 I worked in my brothers record shop "Total Music" in Canning Town in East London, it was there I got the opportunity to secure a weekly radio show on Londons Pulse FM 90.6. Consequently I started to get bookings for New Age Productions "Harmony" Hackney1991 -The Bass Box Edmonton, Labrynth Dalston Lane, Double Dipped @ Bagleys Warehouse, Ministry Of Sound, Moondance & Love Rave at Camden Koko, Innovation @ Club UN plus many more. I also co-produced a Piano Hardcore track on Soapbar Records back in 1993 and have remixed various tracks for Total Music (Verde Sative) @ Soapbar Reload as the Social Chameleons(with Model from Liquid/Sweet Harmony)producing a Liquid Breaks mix. 

To date you can catch me playing at Various Old Skool events including The mighty “Moondance”, The legendary “Labrynth”. I also have a residency at the South coasts finest charity rave Encapsulated Energy plus various events across the UK spinning Old Skool House/Early 90’s Breakbeat Hardcore/Breaks/Deep-Tech House/Progressive/Uplifting Trance, Old Skool era’s.
