Makitan & El Dario are The Shadow Brothers, a DJ duo hailing from Perth, Australia. Born and raised in former Yugoslavia, these two childhood friends moved to Perth in their teens and from early years shared their love for music from hip hop through to a wide variety of electronic music genres.

After high school their musical paths took a more individualistic turn with both of them playing across Perth's premier underground events and supporting many international DJs under their solo alias names Makitan & El Dario.

It was a joint trip to Ibiza in 2010 that brought them back together, and upon returning to Perth The Shadow Brothers project was formed. For the last 4 years the boys have been growing and expanding their musical horizons together while sharing stage with international artists such as Seth Troxler, Art Department, The Martinez Brothers, Guti, Huxley, Hernan Cattaneo, Booka Shade, John Digweed, Rodriguez Jr, Miguel Migs, Laura Jones, DJ Hell and many more. Apart from their regular club shows, TSB have been a part of big Australian festivals such as Stereosonic and Listen Out.

The boys don't believe in genres, instead they try and create the right vibe with a pleasurable musical journey and always pushing the boundaries for something new and unique.
