Tristans' mark on the Psy Trance world has been present almost from the very first time the words 'Goa Trance' were uttered.  Playing an integral role in the psychedelic sounds coming out of the UK in the early days of the 90's and building his name up as one of the scene's most sought after and respected DJ's, Tristan toured the world relentlessly promoting his vibe and the music he holds so dear.  Inspiring artists and fans wherever his tall figure has towered over the decks he has always been a man of the people, there for the party just as much as they are, on the dance floor enthusing about the music of others, and always approachable. 
Nearly everyone who has even a modest appreciation for psychedelic dance music has a legendary Tristan set they can reminisce on.  Never following trends, but rather setting his own bar time and time again, Tristan has focused all his attention on his own music for the last 10 years of his career and expanded and shared his knowledge with a huge amount of collaborations and hours spent in the studio.
To mark this wonderful release Way of Life" features artwork by UK Visionary Artist Emma Watkinson.  Emma and Tristan collaborated closely on the concept and design, with Emma pouring weeks of work into hand painting every tiny detail.  It will take you months to find and decipher all that is interwoven within the artwork. Truly something special for a special moment in time.
Celebrating two decades of Tristan's passion, dedication and music, "Way of Life" is a testament to Tristan's determined effort to rock dance floors everywhere and promote a life-style we all hold so dear.

On an unseasonably warm spring evening, four friends—Max, Julia, Theo, and Ellie—decided to explore an old, abandoned carnival on the outskirts of their town. Legend had it that the carnival was home to a myriad of oddities and secrets, and the friends were in a mood for adventure.

As they wandered past rusted rides and silent booths, their attention was captured by a large, ornate mirror standing alone in the center of the fairgrounds. It was framed in twisted metal and vibrant, chipped paint that hinted at its former glory. Curiosity drew them closer, and without much thought, they stepped through the mirror’s surface, as if it were a liquid portal.

Instantly, they found themselves in a vast, illuminated maze constructed entirely of mirrors. The maze was alive with colors that swirled and morphed, creating hypnotic patterns. The air was thick with the scent of popcorn and cotton candy, a stark contrast to the stale air of the abandoned carnival outside.

Each friend experienced the maze differently. Max heard distant carnival music that seemed to guide him through the twists and turns. Julia saw flickering images of her childhood visits to fairs, each reflection pulling her deeper into her own memories. Theo felt an exhilarating sense of freedom as the paths seemed to widen with each step he took. Ellie, however, was captivated by the surreal beauty of the maze, her reflection splitting and merging as she moved.

The further they ventured, the more they realized that this was no ordinary maze. It was a journey through their shared and individual pasts, a place where time seemed flexible, stretching and compressing with each step. The reflections revealed hidden fears, joys, and untold stories, weaving a tapestry of experiences that felt both deeply personal and universally connected.

Eventually, they found themselves standing before a final mirror, larger and more radiant than the others. As they stepped through it together, they emerged back at the entrance of the abandoned carnival, under the starlit sky. The world outside hadn’t changed, but they had. They returned with a profound sense of clarity and understanding about themselves and each other.
