Greetings my SC friends. 11 months ago I released my 100th song (https://soundcloud.com/grevusanjl/five-score-fanciful-frequencies-and-a-big-thank-you); a monumentally exciting moment in my musical adventures. In celebration, I opened it up to remixes. The response was greater than I had hoped for; and the remixes that came out of it were exciting, to say the least. :)

Unfortunately, one of them had to be removed from the host page in order to make room for newer works. But losing that remix forever was just too much of a bummer for me to accept, so I asked permission to host that remix here. 

Thank you very much Adrian, for giving me the opportunity and permission to re-publish your remix. It is a spectacular re-envisioning, in my humble opinion; and I'm honored to keep it alive and well here on my repost page. :)

There’s a whole lot of talking going on beneath the waves.  A new study suggests that sound communication in fish goes back at least 155 million years. Although fish have developed hearing similar to other vertebrates, the way they make sounds to communicate to other fish is distinctive. Many fish use swim bladder vibrations to make noise or may vibrate other muscles or parts of the body, while others can snap their tendons, move their jaws, or otherwise rub skeletal parts to produce sounds.  What are the fish talking about? Fish are either trying to attract a mate, defend a food source or territory, or let others know where they are. Even some of the common names for fish are based on the sounds they make, such as grunts, croakers, hog fish, squeaking catfish and trumpeters. 

For clarinet, bass clarinet, contrabass clarinet, marimba, fish, marine mammals and crustaceans recordings, virtual instruments and percussion.

After going to a Reiki session, which some of you know as a relaxing healing session. When I left I thought why not make myself my own relaxing music to relax to when feeling over stressed which is most days these days. 
Picture this……sitting or lying somewhere…..what fits your fancy…..let’s say on the warm sand in a wild beach with nothing around but the sound of birds and the sound of the waves coming back and forth gently. Feeling the soft wind on your skin. There is nothing around but you and nature. You feel free. Anyway I leave it to you to think of what makes you relax in your own private world.
