Growing up in small towns in the West Country and West Midlands, Nathan Cable and Ruth Shave started telling bittersweet stories contemplating the quieter moments of people’s lives. Their debut album Midnight Pine arrived in 2018. The Wire hailed it: 'A keening edge...rural in the best of all possible ways.’ A sold out headline show at The Wanstead Tap, London.

In 2020 they returned with new single Void which gained the attention of Tom Robinson, with airplay on 6 Music and BBC Introducing West.

Between then Ruth Shave and Nathan Cable scored short films Highway Children and Light from LA film director and writer Lauren Clinton. They released two soundtracks in early 2020.

In late 2021 after a long and tough year they will return with new song Endless Sea. Release date: November 5th. Produced by Nathan Cable and Ruth Shave. Mixed by Nathan Cable.
