Joe Rhinewine is a guitarist/songwriter whose style ranges from satirical, humorous songs to soundscapes featuring textured layering, improvised lead guitar, and blues, post-rock, and experimental elements.

Born in the jungle and raised in the urban area of Vienna, settled instrumental trio mixes up the scene. Pulsing beats of drums on fire combined with the deep oscillating basses of a rooted didgeridoo sound, flavored with high pitched estranged guitar sounds, the fast sound of the storming elephants rushes through the halls, walls and open spaces.

Hans Echnaton Schano never claimed to be a singer or a musician. He is an Austrian poet, actor, director and an underground legend who used to live in Woodstock, N.Y. One day local musicians told him that he ought to sing his poems and that there was a whole generation who could very well relate to his thoughts and feelings.However, he never knew how to write a single note of music on paper or carry a tune properly. So he took the only remaining option. Crude as they might sound, he created simple tunes to his lyrics on the guitar and … sings and plays them himself, to convey their own special feeling. If you like a song of his set "FEELING AND DESIRE", which presents a nice spectrum, or "MOONBOW RISING", this one is rather quiet, just check the above homepage and drop him a note directly via the contact page. NYC-based ISLE of KLEZBOS approaches tradition with irreverence and respect. The soulful, fun-loving powerhouse all-women’s klezmer sextet has toured from Vienna to Vancouver since 1998. Band repertoire ranges from rambunctious to entrancing: neo-traditional folk dance, mystical melodies,Yiddish swing & retro tango, late Soviet-era Jewish drinking song, re-grooved standards, and genre-defying originals. ISLE of KLEZBOS concert footage has been broadcast internationally on CBS Sunday Morning, CNN World- Beat, and PBS In The Life, and the band’s live and studio recordings have also been heard on The L Word (Showtime), WFMU, Northeast Public Radio (Live at the Linda), and film soundtracks for Grace Paley: Collected Shorts, Esther Broner: A Weave of Women, and I Guess I’m Not Going to Get toVegas, among others. The band has also been commissioned to create a concert for artist Kiki Smith and studio recordings of Klezbos arrangements for multi-platinum, Grammy-nominated Scissor Sisters.
