Confrontation of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde from the Musical. After seeing awesome videos of this song being related to the subject of Pinkie and Pinakmena I went crazy in my head in to how to give this awesome song a pony twist as well as a different approach. The result is this.
I know it’s a bit flawed, but still, it’s something I find myself very very very proud of having been able to pull off. I’m not a pro singer nor I practice very much so I apologize if there are some parts that sound a bit iffy.

I immediately fell in love with the cover as soon as I heard it. I had it on repeat non-stop for a good few days, then I thought ‘hey I could do an English cover of this’ so I did. A couple tumblr posts got me inspired to base this around the whole headcanon that Sans is secretly a really good singer and only Papyrus knows it. It’s cute and I love it. The audio for this got done a while back, it just took me so long to do the cover art, and everything got pretty busy the past week. At least that’s my excuse. Hope you all enjoy the direction I took this in :D
((I’m also very tempted to do an Undyne/Alphys cover in the same style but we’ll see))

This started out with me wanting to do an electronic version of Bonetrousle, but then I started realizing it sounded like a theme that might play in an Underswap AU when you fight Papyrus at the end instead of Sans. Though I'd like to think that even if Papyrus were to give you a bad time, he still wouldn't hurt you if your HP were too low. But until that point, he would still put up a badass fight.

"A little while ago, when I was still going to therapy, my therapist told me when I have really bad thoughts or just have a lot of issues or things that I'm dealing with at the time (maybe short term stuff, or maybe long term stuff), he said that it was a really good idea to write it down. Not use your computer, but to actually, physically write it out. And while I haven't gone to therapy in a little while for various reasons, I was going through my garage and I was cleaning stuff out a couple weeks ago, and I found my old notebook. And I don't know when I wrote this, but I've been kinda writing in this journal for I almost I would say a couple years now, and what I would do, was when I was feeling particularly suicidal, or when I was just, ya know, kinda just a little overcome with just being depressed for such a long time. What I would do is I would write suicide notes. Just because when you write a suicide note and you kinda limit yourself to a couple page, it's always interesting to see what comes out as far as like, what really matters to you. If you only had a couple pages to close your life, what would you say? So, I found this one and I thought it was particularly poignant, and I thought somehow I could use it in some musical capacity, to kinda translate it to show you all, even though it's very personal. I was gonna make a stupid little ukulele ballad, but ultimately I don't think this is something to really joke about. So I just did a spoken word piece that I recorded for you and I want you to hear it. So, I hope you enjoy it." - Richard M. Giese (Social Repose)
