When stormy breezes blow under the cloudy sky;
Darkness surges like rolling waves that grow so high.
The end times of Paul, can be likened in this way,
Many had turned away, leaving the Ministry.
Yet Timothy was there, unshaken 'midst the tide;
Diff’rent teachings came in, but he firmly decried.
In times of decline and degradation today,
Will we stand just how Timothy fought on those days?

Lord we’re here, standing as Your present Timothy
Regardless of what environment there be,
Ourselves we give, Your faithful continuation.
Take heed to fulfill what is Your commission, 
Consummate through us Your divine economy,

Not loving the present age, be a Timothy
Set our hearts on the course by running desp’rately
Let no one despise you for being weak and young
The testimony of the Lord is in your tongue.
Fan into flame the gift of God which is in you,
Preach the gospel,instruct the saints, uphold the truth.
Be constituted with the present truth today.
Good deposit we’ll guard until the coming day,

Who’ll fight the good warfare until the coming day,
To endure all the suff’rings go along the way
To remain steadfast not being disappointed.
Oh Lord Your mercy and Your grace is much needed,
Let us be faithful men who passed on our learning 
To hasten the time of His glorious appearing;

Paying the price today for the prize in glory.
