Second "piano post card", inspired by the view of a castle above a lake. The left hand stubbornly  repeats the same patterns over which the melody unfolds.

Seven years ago, Oddrun and I released a beautiful collaboration titled “Smile” — a heartfelt reinterpretation of the timeless theme from Charlie Chaplin’s Modern Times (1936) 🎬.  Born from a melody that once underscored silent emotions on screen, our version gave it a new voice — tender, human, and full of light.  For some reason, it never made its way to my SoundCloud page… until now. It feels like the right moment to share this piece again — a little fragment of beauty we both cherished.
 I hope it touches you as it once touched us. ✨

   •   La versión más conocida es la de Norah Jones, incluida como sencillo el 28 de enero de 2002, en su primer álbum Come Away with Me (2002).  ￼

A Perfect World

Lately I've been busking in the underground area of the tram station called Rondo Kaponiera with its tremendously rich reverb capacities, a literal diamond of reflective surfaces that offers fascinating and confusing harmonics as my sound mingles with the other ambient strains. This track, however, the first in the series, was recorded with mono instrument microphone with a Boss reverb pedal in the mixer's effects loop. The pieces on the album I am working on are themes that emerged from improvisations in that particular resonance region.
