Originally from Connecticut, Colin Poulton has been a professional guitar player in Nashville, Tennessee since 2013. He launched the Colin Poulton Trio to create a space for improvisation and composition and as a vehicle to explore his Hispanic roots through music. The Trio’s sound is inspired by artists like Al Di Meola, Egberto Gismonti, Gary Burton, John Scofield, and Antonio Carlos Jobim.
