Haunted House

For volume one of our Nativecast mix series, we are pleased to present you with Amsterdam based DJ and producer NAKANO BLU. He came into the scene during the turbulent year of 2021, after switching from his drumming career towards dark electronic music. Being active for many years as a hip-hop producer and multi-purpose session drummer, he decided to start a new project focusing on the inspiring sounds of Amsterdam`s club scene, where techno is king and there is a big space for experimental DJ and producers to play their tracks for an electronic-loving crowd. 

His first single release with cologne-based label Urban Undergrounds was a more chilled, outsider house track, but his production style evolved quickly into the IDM and lo-fi techno sounds of his first EP, Æ, released with Berlin's  label Corresponding Positions, house of releases from techno legends like Umwelt or Templer. Following this evolution NAKANO BLU progressed into the breakbeat productions and fast-moving DJ sets that contain an eclectic mix of techno, IDM and juke/ghetto, defining his particular DJ style and ready to smash the dancefloor of any club.

For Volume two of our Nativecast mix series we are pleased to present the homie and up and local up and coming talent, Etari. She has already graced us and killed it with her ‘Midnight Mood’ EP for the label. Based in the city of Los Angeles, Alixandria Andre, is a DJ and music producer that fuses her love for ethereal grooves, jungle, breaks and electro through imaginative productions, diverse Dj sets, and inspired studio mixes. With Djing for exactly a decade, she's discovered bits of her artistic style which has guided her to where she is today. Through some of Etari's past releases on 100% Silk, Low Recordings, Yellow Island & Native Boundaries, you can be sure to hear more of her idiosyncratic productions in the coming years as she expands her artistic craft.

Nativecast // 002 — Etari

For Volume 3 of our Nativecast mix series we are glad to present the homie and magical beat chemist, User Delusion. He is a Los Angeles based producer specialzing in everything from bass, electro and beyond. Over the past year hes being smashing through the compilation circuit with two EPs under his belt. You can find his work being rinsed in the club to the infamous Hor bathroom. 
Expect nothing less than "banging" from the ambitious new comer as hes bound to put you in trance with his hypnotic melodies and stomping 808's.

Nativecast // 003 — User Delusion

For Volume 004 of our mix series, we are happy to present e91. E91 is a DJ and a producer pushing energetic and distorted basslines in the shades of Riga. He has seen consistent releases on labels including Club Designs, Low Income Squad and most recently In2ition Music. His tracks have had a global impact, receiving features from tastemakers like CRUDE Berlin and Posse Up!, while for the last 10 years he’s become a strong presence locally in Riga’s underground and club scene. A fascination with and love of the music led to a desire to create it, and his early experimentations with 8bit music were followed by breakcore and fidget house. His sound now fuses inspiration from each of these eclectic influences and can be best described as high energy club music with a relentless groove.

Akumen is a producer, DJ, and co-founder of Made to Move, a monthly event and live stream radio show, featuring DJs from Southern California and abroad bringing a fresh underground sound to LA. Akumen's emotive productions - released on labels including 12 Inches Deep and Low Recordings - range from uplifting and euphoric to brawny with a melancholy undertone, but always with captivating atmosphere and energy. 

As a DJ, Akumen fuses house, breaks, and rhythmic techno for a high energy set, appearing regularly across LA at bars, clubs, warehouses or streaming monthly on virtualpublic.net. For his Nativecast mix, Akumen takes us on a steadily building, hypnotic journey of chunky electro, acid, industrial and old school rave sounds.
