JaxxFae’s love for electronic music was born in the underground, shaped by the raw energy of '90s Sydney raves and warehouse parties. Drawn to the scene like a moth to a flame, she has spent years stomping across dancefloors and immersing herself in every aspect of EDM culture.
Her passion evolved into a self-taught DJ career, starting in her garage in 2019 before quickly moving to private parties and live events. Jaxx has built a reputation for delivering electrifying performances. In 2023, she deepened her craft by earning a Diploma of Music (EDM) from SAE Byron Bay.
Moving fluidly between genres, JaxxFae explores two sonic realms: 
🌙 JaxxFae Dusk – a journey into deep, heavy bass, spanning drum and bass, leftfield bass, deep dubstep, UKG, and trap. 
☀️ JaxxFae Dawn – a space of hypnotic rhythms and uplifting grooves, blending techno, bass house, deep house, and melodic house & techno.
Her genre-fluid approach reflects a deep appreciation for underground sounds and a sharp instinct for keeping the dancefloor locked in the moment.
Known for her ability to surprise and energize any crowd, Jaxx’s mission is simple: make people move, groove, and lose themselves in the music.

Building on several contributions to Bristol's forward thinking label Limbo Tapes and appearances at festivals across North America such as Mutek, Bass Coast and Active Passive, Birthname (fka Caro) continues to distill their loop-oriented style of storytelling. 

They make and process sounds using hardware, computers, batteries and numerous small fuses and wires. A computer is made up of over 30 different minerals which are mined and extracted from the earth. 

They explore various means of communication by layering of field recordings, instrumentation, voice and synthesized waveform. There are 7 main types of communication and an estimated 7,000 to 7,100 distinct languages spoken worldwide. 

Birthname's work functions as a mirror and a bridge between intimate inner-life and the current and historical topological and geopolitical landscapes. 

Like any spiritual practice, it is an exercise in attention. 

On the air regularly since 2018, Caro has hosted and welcomed many guests on The Tea, through CJLY and B.Side Radio. Their new monthly as Birthname called Fire Shelter airs monthly on Noods Radio. 

Spiral Dance, their most recent LP, was released in 2025 via Limbo Tapes.
