Jesse started playing guitar and writing lyrics when he was 14. He has gone through many incarnations of style and direction but has always maintained his acoustic bluesy-roots. Jesse is also a born again Christian who is inspired to write worship songs. He is embarking on a new journey of learning how to record his latest music. He would love for you to come along on the journey with him.

While many found 2020 challenging; Bay Area Native, Tommy Odetto took a massive leap of faith. He packed up his guitars, left all that he knew behind and made himself a new home in Milwaukee, WI. Like so many musicians, 2020 left Odetto with a lot of free time on his hands. He wrote a lot of music. He reinvigorated his love for the blues. He networked virtually and performed live streams with @rockthegreen @cooperagemke @amplifiedartistsessions and more; which got him connected with some of Wisconsin’s greatest talents. As a result, he found himself recording new music at Milwaukee’s Hamtone Studios with Producer and Engineer @hamtoneaudio (Beatallica, Violent Femmes) and Percussionists @cheaptrickdaxx (Cheap Trick) and @johnnyradelat (Gary Clark, Jr.). Soul on Arrival is his proclamation to a life dedicated to sobriety and chasing his dream of rock and roll. It features Odetto’s searing guitar licks that he is known for along with a heavy influence of the grit and passion of the delta blues. Think Stevie Ray Vaughan meets Robert Johnson with a dash of John Frusciante to keep listeners on their toes. There is no one genre that sums up Odetto’s sound. He is inspired by all music and it shows in his energy and style.
