This song was inspired (or should that be triggered?) by half a dozen hunters in pink baseball caps I saw the other day.  Though I don’t think it is really about ‘meat eating’ or ‘gun control’, I suspect it is about something else.

When in Tasmania, Natt hanged out with his girlfriend Fanny Assingham and a surfer dude called Ginger. We don't know if it was because of his red hair or the fact that he over consumed ginger root beer.
The legend says that Fanny took off with Ginger and a case of root beer but no one knows for sure. The only thing that we do know is that Ginger ended up very sadly in the jaws of a shark when surfing the swells of the Tasmanian shores.

Here you see the last confirmed photo of the legendary songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, philologist, polyglot, love doctor, humanitarian, autodidact, amateur massage therapist, expert woodworker, cattle rancher, and faith-healer, Natt Brus. He was born Bruce Knotts in Rocky Springs, Ms in 1942. In 1964, Knotts founded a small communal musical and religious society- the so-called Sacred Order of Zoroastrian Gyrations- in Marfa,Texas. By 1967, the commune was making headlines as a “cult” devoted to the ritual sacrifice of alpaca and shetland ponies. On the run from the Texas Rangers and the Federal Bureau of Investigation, he assumed the alias ‘Natt Brus” and escaped to the Swedish wilderness. There, he began his search for what he called the “Monomental.” After penning his autobiography and manifesto, Brus and his mistress Fannie Assingham disappeared in his spruce, tarp and chicken wing biplane, leaving nary a trace. 

Brus’s followers never gave up hope that their spiritual and musical guide had faked his death in order to achieve the long sought for state of pure “monomentality,” a pure permanent hypnotic state of groove. In April 2020, a purported manuscript of his autobiography surfaced on the black market of Cairo alongside lost scraps of Gnostic scripture. An ad hoc international consortium of scholars determined that this manuscript of Brus’s life’s work- which he called The Nekkid Truth of Natt Brus- was indeed authentic. However, the work’s most important chapters- those disclosing the true nature of the monomental and its attainment- were not written in Latin letters, but a strange kind of coded musical notation decipherable only by those initiated in the esoteric traditions of Brus’s own Sacred Order of Zoroastrian Gyrations. The international consortium, under the aegis of the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization, immediately commissioned an international collaboration with two express aims: 1) to commit the unrecorded compositions of Natt Brus to a permanent sound recording medium; and 2) to translate Natt Brus’s Theory of Ultimate Monomentality to sound.  

These collaborators are the bearers of the seal of the Sacred Order of Zoroastrian Gyrations and holders of its secret teachings. They include:
