First official single release for Asheville based soul/ Rock/Hip-hop band Natural Born Leaders. The song is "Return of Jafar" off of the bands EP 'About Time'. 

Return of Jafar was written as a reminder....YOU are not powerless.

Song was recorded at ARTCORE studios and produced by Patrick Doyle. Mastered at Magic Garden studios by Brian Lucey.

It's sometimes difficult to maintain high spirits especially in the current social/political climate. To help I offer my take on Bobby McFerrin's hit "Don't Worry Be Happy." What? My version not making you feel warm and fuzzy inside?

Natural Born Leaders is a soul, rock group that fuses elements of hip hop in
between the lines. They are home based out of Asheville NC. Their music
as a whole is fueled by creative and abstract thought. They are directly
influenced by bands contrasting in range from The Fugees to Black
Sabbath and their music displays links to everything from jazz to blues, to
Afro-Latin and jam band music.

NBL is currently performing and touring at everything from dimly lit dive bars, to bustling urban street festivals, all the way up to world class music venues.
They just finished their first studio album ‘About time’ a four song EP
scheduled for release in March of 2018. NBL is a bite of hip-hop-gumbo-funk
