After some works on Disco Halal, Spinnup or Rotten City (@rotten-city-records) with his track 'Cube' (included on the last Rotten Citizens Compilation), young Tel-Avivian producer Marko East (@markoeast) comes back to the label, this time with a mighty EP full of acid and rave flavors, clearly focused on the dance floor.

'Kinda happy, Sorta Sad' is the very first track he did by himself, after working for a couple years with a partner in an electronic duo.
As the title says, the track is about how we sometimes feel living in this weird world, combining influences from 80s beats and rock attitude with the vocals.

'DIG' is also one of his first tracks, with a very 'Telavivian' vibe. The beat brings some Trance and Rave elements, on a fat kick and bass, definitely club oriented. That was his intention, creating something that would make him dance at home during the first lockdown.

The release is completed with remixes from Swedish 'Trampoliner' duo Elfenberg and Playground Records co-funder Kuunde, both to the track 'Kinda Happy, Sorta Sad'. The first one with a wicked uptempo peak time bomb and the other one with his unmistakable bass line & grooves.

Artist Bio:
Emesh led by Antonio Muñoz is a master in creative music production across electronic, ambient, slow trance, idm and dub. He comes from the beautiful region of La Alcarria in Spain. Since 2013 on Sendero Records, he has been delivering a quite diverse range of sound to the listener, sometimes danceable, sometimes calming, more metallic, more organic, and always inspiring. Antonio is both, a musician and therapist. His musical influences owe much to the pop and electronics of the 80s when he started working as resident Dj at Deadly club in Brihuega (Guadalajara-Spain) about 9 years. From there he went to Madrid to do Dj sets with his aka Dujay in various popular nightspots of the capital like the Circulo de Bellas Artes, Mondo and Maxime between others, in addition in the early 2000s he is the founder of the underground parties Darkbeat, programming deep trance and progressive house, pioneers in the city. Working with these sounds allowed him to warm up James Holden the first time he visited Spain in 2003. Evolving his skills, he delved into music production, mastering various instruments and exploring sound therapy rooted in shamanic practices. Antonio gives regular sound therapy sessions and journeys using his Tibetan Singing Bowls, Shamanic Drum and other ancient instruments. His talent has been recognized on a global stage, with his track featured at the London Music Conference in 2020 playing a set at fabric@london. This global recognition is a testament to his skill and creativity. Currently, he's immersed in his studio, Elul, recently completing an indie electronic EP with Miss Zagato, and recent releases on Initiate Rec., Piranha Siberia Dub, Blue Lotus and Something Spæcial label. DJ, Producer and Remixer. Deemkeyne, the renowned dubtechno new wave musician, is ready to present his new mix on our DUBBISM mix series, especially recorded for our label for the 5th anniversary of the signature DUBBISM podcast!🎄

Dietrich Klassen, real name. He was born in central Asia in Kazakhstan, emigrated in the 90’s with his family to Germany and lives for about 27 years on the beautiful Lake Constance in south of Germany. As long as he can remember, he has been into music and has always felt the need to express his feelings through art, poetry and of course with music. As if something had to come out of him to reflect or let go of the beautiful and sad moments in life. He has playing and mixing electronic music since two decades, starts seriously producing in 2015 after he learned signal processing, music theory and producing with Ableton live. Dmitry loves exploring with sound design of chords, percussions, beats and atmospheres and loves playing sessions, he released EPs and albums on Apnea Label, Kopoc Label, Slope Point, Superordinate Dub Waves, MixCult Records, Melotonin, Lamp, spclnch, hello▼strange, [PIRANHA SIBERIA DUB], Scale Limited.
