Naveen Bokhari is a singer/songwriter and producer based in Washington DC.  Mixing guitar heavy indie folk, adventurous EDM and hip hop, and influences from her South Asian roots, Naveen’s lovingly composed tracks have begun to gain traction in her hometown and are gradually beginning to attract viral attention around the world.

Naveen’s genre-less approach to composition can be traced back to her international upbringing.  Spending much of her childhood overseas gave her unique insight into the modern world and her place in it.  Although music started as a hobby, it gradually evolved into something more serious.  When she settled down in Washington DC as an adult, she began composing in a fury of inspiration, leading to the release of her first tracks on Soundcloud in early 2015.

In the ensuing years, Naveen has begun to devote more and more of her time to her music, writing songs that reflect on her experiences as a young mother and world traveler.  Her music ranges from Damien Rice inspired acoustic balladry to sample heavy trip hop, all tied together by recurring themes of love and creativity.  Her release of the nine track album ‘Into The Sound,’ shows her branching out into cinematic soundscapes and laid back, late night grooves.  Her release of the five track album 'Sketches in the Eventide' showcases her song-writing, singing and playing on her acoustic guitar.

Having quietly built up an impressive catalog, Naveen is currently dedicating herself to her family and music alike, and continuing to seek out and appreciate life’s beautiful moments. Currently, Naveen is hunkering down at home, refining her craft, and looking for new ways to make human connections through her music.
