Nave Migratoria is hosting the Or Noir Sessions at his home and is more than happy to share his first Set. He has been traveling for more than ten years between Europe and South-America and lived for four years in Bogotá. During his stay, he has been digging vinyl all around the country; from the small hidden stores in the bustling capital to the dusty shops of the vibrant Cali, the world class city of Salsa. His sets are composed of traditional Colombian and Latin music such as cumbia, pacific, afro or salsa

Session #7 - Nave Migratoria

So this is my Katzensprung Festival Set @ Laufmasche Floor for the Ruta 40 Showcase. Enjoy these two and half hours of strictly vinyl and straight forward dancefloor oriented music with old and new tunes I have been digging the last few years. The little crowd of friends and dancers gave me a lot of energy and I had so much pleasure playing. One of my favorite's so far I must confess!

As the summer is coming to an end, I wanted to share with you this electronic mix made up of tracks I have been playing over the last few months, mostly in France at events & parties. It's an eclectic selection with a lot of organic sounds and acid influences. The title of this mix comes from the closing track of Sonia - J'ai Chaud as an edit and a reference to the sunny season ☀️

Nave Migratoria @ Bucht der Träumer Festival 2025 | Schweißperle Floor

Sol Selectas es un sello neoyorquino que fue creado por William Sabatini alias DJ Sabo en el 2006. En un inicio, se enfocaba en un nuevo género musical llamado Moombahton pero con el tiempo su fundador decidió llevar la identidad musical del sello a otro rumbo. En el 2011, Sabo se trasladó a la ciudad de Los Angeles para buscar el sol y cumplir su sueño de producir nueva música. El género musical del sello se puede definir como “Deep Shamanic Dance Music”, es decir música electrónica que incorpora sonidos folclóricos y ritmos antiguos.

Cofradía que gira entorno al hipnotismo de las vibraciones producidas por el arrastre de la aguja arando en los surcos sónicos del vinilo. Congrega a quienes mezclan sus mejores pócimas de encantamiento en la comarca de Teusaquillo-Chapinero sobre la base de piezas arrancadas de las rancias entrañas de "La Guaca", así como adquiridas en pulcras boutiques y distintos parajes de la red. Mentes abiertas a este trance no diseñado para oídos complacientes. Las fronteras de la exaltación afro-tropical serán sometidas a profundos niveles de dilatación.

Distantly United [3.4.2020]

Me acuerdo hace seis años cuando escuché por la primera vez la canción "Homenaje a Justino" del Grupo Socavón a través de unos bafles mediocres en mi pequeña alcoba parisina. Me quedé literalmente sin palabras y fascinado con este sonido que se llama música del Pacífico.

Unos pocos meses después tuve la suerte de asistir a un concierto de Esteban Copete y su Kinteto Pacífico en un festival de música colombiana en las afueras de la ciudad de la luz. Mi gusto por esta música se fue cada vez más creciendo.

Por fin en el 2015 asistí por la primera vez al Festival Petronio Álvarez en las Canchas Panamericanas de Cali. Fue una de esas experiencias inolvidables que son difíciles de describir con palabras.

Nave Migratoria has performed at renowned bars, clubs and festivals such as Kater Blau or Bucht der Träumer for the past five years. Hailing from South-East France, traveling for more than ten years between Europe and South-America, living for four years in Colombia and now residing in the bustling German capital Berlin, his repertoire is very open-minded musically speaking and you can sense in his selection an influence of his travels and residencies in Latin America. His musical versatility allows him to compose DJ sets not only with Latin rhythms on vinyl such as cumbia, pacific, afro or salsa but also to blend organic sounds with electronic music.
