Donald Allen Jr. is from from Houma,La and is 26 years old his stage name is Young D an has been making music since he was 8 years old,when he was 15 he was told by an A&R That "the world is his just don't be afraid to learn". He took those words an ran with them an haven't looked back since.  

        Young D's main purpose in the industry is to Grow not only as a business man but as a person.he is currently working on the second part of mix tape series Dreams Vs. Reality. The first part  of the series which dropped July 2013 really took off all ova the internet. It was hosted by a D.J out of Atlanta named D.J Cassius Cain. They both were surprised to see that Young D's mixtape had received over 20,000  views in just one week on live mix tapes.com. It showed the young artist that his dreams were not as far away as he thought.

        The more views the young artist received the more his fan base grew. There were fans all the way in France commenting on the CD an expressing how much they support the artist an cannot wait to hear more of his music. A few weeks later Young D's mix tape was re tweeted over twitter a social networking site,by the New Edition historian Robert Smith. The artist quickly showed how appreciative he was for the love an thanked him. Mr. Smith responded saying he enjoyed the music an he felt Young D had talent. Weeks later Mr. Smith sent Young D a message with an e-mail saying send your best song to a certain e-mail for an unsigned artist competition. The artist quickly sent out what he felt was his best work.

      Weeks Later Young D was advised that he was a finalist in the unsigned artist competition an that AW Records was interested in talking with him. They later offered him his first Independent record deal. An he accepted an his now a signed recording artist an his very happy about his situation. He set many goals for the new year as far XXL Freshman,an also being able to be apart of his first tour. He is also A recording engineer an plays the drums. An has work 14 years to get this far.
  
           Too sum it up Young D is a very humble artist whose main focus is making it to the top an to show others where he's from that dreams really do come true.
