Dans cette émission Nos mémoires, Bertrand Lançon, interrogé par Mari-Gwenn Carichon, fait le point sur ce qu'on sait réellement de ses origines. Peut-on en dater fermement la naissance d'un pays ? Qui sont nos premiers ancêtres ? Quels sont les éléments qui déterminent une nation et la définissent? Où situer la limite entre le Français et l'Étranger? Comment écrire une histoire nationale d'un pays qui est né d'une multitude d'identités ? Que renferme le terme "racines" et identité" ? Quels sont les liens entre les sociétés et l'image que les Français ont de leur identité ?

L'auteur : Bertrand Lançon est historien professeur émérite d'Histoire romaine à l'Université de Limoges (Constantin (306-337, Théodose). Il vient de publier un essai sur les origines de la France aux éditions Perrin : Quand la France commence-t-elle ? (256 pages, 18.00 €).

Growing up in Ann Arbor Michigan, Michael found his love for cinema as a projectionist, getting an inside peek at all that cinema had to offer. He followed this passion to Chicago IL, where he studied film at Columbia College. The institution's eclectic, urban environment inspired the creation of his Sci-Fi Short Film “Burden". Upon graduation he moved to Los Angeles with his wife Kristine Lynch to continue his love of filmmaking. He has had the privilege of collaborating with tons of filmmakers performing various roles as Director, Cinematographer, Producer and Editor. Always looking to expand his talents and knowledge in the Film Industry Michael recently joined the Local 600 Camera Union as an Operator and became a licensed Part 107 Drone Pilot.

Ever determined to leave his own mark on the medium, he went on to direct the feature films “Dependent’s Day” and “Victor Walk ” and produce several successful films that had limited theatrical releases. “Between Us” featuring David Harbour, Julia Stiles and Taye Diggs, “Saving Lincoln“ featuring Dave Dastmalchian and Penelope Ann Miller, “This Thing with Sarah” featuring Wes Chatham and “Lucky Number” featuring Method Man and Tom Pelphrey.

Michael is on a mission to tell compelling and socially important stories that can help better the world and bring awareness to the masses.

took it back to the 80s with some ibanez hd1000 as a "hard reverb" recorded to tape, played back through the hd1000 as an octave up effect. tried to sinc up the reverbed and the octaved tracks but the tape didn't play back at the same speed every time (and I did some manual wobbles of the varispeed). Added some flanger with valhalla space modulator to give some stereo width to the pitch shifted track.
