and my drawings look alot like this
and my songs sound alot like this
but i am someone else

i am slowly turning to stone
and forgetting everything i know
empty screens i am staring at my phone
im a still life now

only a fucking still life
that fell down here to lay beside

i am a shit poem written on a wall
and a bug at the side of your eyeball
im whats left of whatever i recall

with a broken sink for a face
and a head that just takes up space
all i do is stay frozen in my place

the field seems so quiet in a time like this
though i know being quiet isnt always best
whenever i get high i think about it
the landscapes dont complain they just exist

i heard my mother cry again
they took the belongings she said
its like im seeing life through a lens
im giving all my clothes to my friends

i dont dare to speak the words
but i know were thinking of the same thing

the silence is giving it away
my room became a sad display
of all my destructive ways

Nina Björk Elíasson singer, composer, improvisator, visuel artist.  Grew up in Iceland but has now lived for a long time in Copenhagen, Denmark. Educated in music and communication at the University of Copenhagen. 
She has explored the voice for years regarding phonetics, feelings, qualities etc. using it in an experimental way and improvising, composing works for voice solo and chorus, as well as songs to contemporary poetry: icelandic, danish, chinese.   
Gradually she began to make performance and videos/slides to her music,  Installations and visual art. 
Her music has been performed or played widely around the world.
