The latest in a series of experiments using a single instance of GeoShred to control multiple instruments. In this case the instruments were Roli Noise (November Rain Guitar Lead, String and Horns, Lemon Bell and Fluid Acoustic Bass) and Roli Drums (Ambient Beats Groove Kit)
Effects were ScaleBud 2, Attack Softener, TB Reverb, MU Filter, Velvet Machine, FAC Alteza, LRC7 and MixBox.

“Above the Clouds” is a meditative fantasy ambient piece that blends gentle melodies with a soft sci-fi atmosphere. The track creates a tranquil space for reflection and invites the listener into a dreamlike world. With ambient elements gently dialed back, the track focuses on spacious melodies and ethereal tones, ideal for reflection, deep focus, or late-night escapes.

Inspired by the image of a lost sanctuary suspended above the earth,  “Above the Clouds” echoes themes of solitude, transition, and the quiet pull of the unknown. It captures the tension between wonder and alienation in a world both ancient and unfamiliar.

In the south of southern Spain, SanFernando (Cádiz) is surrounded by marshes and salt lakes, where we were both born and grown up among its labyrinths and landscapes.
‘Salinas’ has been encouraged by these spaces so familiar to us, now that we have visited them again after many years. They have united us to write eight songs inspired by the most important salt mines that existed and that is why they bear their names.
We have worked on the calmness of sound, silences and repetitions, as these places sound now. We wish you like it as much as we enjoyed creating it.
