This particular tiger has been clawing his way through the music scene by releasing some quality Tracks such as "Pleasure Garden" at Sarah Wild's Imprint Midnight Operators. Not to forget the massive Italo Disco Banger "Dolce Fragola" on Fauve Records & @crackirecords which was released last year and played by David Vunk amongst many others...

@maltitzmusic lives in Berlin. He is known for his eclectic style and brings together influences from Italo Disco, Indie Dance, House & Wave in his DJ sets, which is also reflected in his diverse art of music production. Maltitz's energetic DJ sets thrive on the dynamic atmosphere, characterized by diverse genre excursions and rapid tempo changes. 

He surprises with the mixture of humor, sex appeal and the right selection for the night and always looks for the emotional connection to the audience. He is a well-known DJ in the Berlin club scene and plays in venues such as the Funkhaus (porcelain bar), Sisyphos, //about:blank, Golden Gate, Æden, Ipse. As an experienced DJ, he has been a guest at the Wilde Möhre and the Feel Festival. He also gained a reputation outside of Berlin and played in clubs in cities such as Frankfurt, Hamburg, Kassel or Dresden. In the local PAL club in Hamburg he plays alongside with stage luminaries like Boris, FJAAK, Sedef Adasi, Cormac, Héctor Oaks or Spencer Parker, whereby his universally known closing sets can last up to six hours.

Tiger Tapes 017 – Maltitz

Teemon & Poomba are a duo from Madrid, producers and DJs united by music who do not discriminate against any genre as long as it sounds powerful. Forceful basses and good melodies make both their productions and their sets macerate well. In their productions they work in both digital and analog environments, with modular synthesizers being where they go deepest in the creation of sounds.
Their last work "Nine Bad Decisions" was published on the Música Cavernícola label with three original tracks and two remixes signed by Phunkadelica and SOSANDLOW. The set gives rise to an energetic and timeless EP.
For this podcast they wanted to mix songs by some producers and friends from Madrid, as well as other artists they like and their own productions.

Enzio Etchaberri is a Dutch born Berlin-based DJ and producer. It is the love for arpeggiated, high energy and cosmic sounds that sees him defy genre boundaries and temporarily reduce gravity’s pull on people’s legs. His experience with playing warm-up, peak time and closing sets has given him the chance to develop his ethos, ‘If you have people on their toes, it’s easier
for them to dance too’.

A lot of energy is committed in creating a joyful experience, be it digitizing rare vinyl, meticulously editing and remixing tracks for DJ use or producing original material. In the production department, he focuses on continuously developing his diverse musical identity and is taking the time to patiently release his tried-and-tested creations into the world.

Zum zweiten Mal Approximation im FFT! Das gibt dem Festival Raum für ein nächstes Debüt:
die Uraufführung der Videoarbeit „À la Gould“ des Künstlers William Engelen, realisiert in Kooperation und mit Unterstützung der KAI 10 | ARTHENA FOUNDATION. In ihrem Zentrum, die Pianisten Legende Glenn Gould, sein oft undogmatischer Zugang zur Musik und seine außerordentliche Individualität. In diesem Sinn bringt Engelens Kunstwerk auch das Credo von Approximation auf den Punkt. Die beim mitsummenden Gould lediglich tolerierten Geräusche des Lebens rückt dann Emeka Ogboh live ins Zentrum seiner Kompositionen. Stimmen und Ambience der Straßen verschmelzen mit elektronischen Dub-Sounds. Mit ihrer eigenen Stimme begleitet sich die Cellistin Mabe Fratti. Unterstützt von ihrer Band, geht sie auf Klangreisen, die von alter Musik bis zum Widerhall lateinamerikanischer Traditionen im aktuellen Rock führen. Derweil weisen Kelly Morans mesmerisierende Kompositionen für das präparierte Piano zurück zum Ursprung des Festivals. Doch dies ist noch längst nicht alles! Drei Tage, acht Konzerte plus DJ-Sets. Musik einer Welt im Wandel, die Zukunft der Tradition oder Tradition der Zukunft auf einem Festival, das stets nach Neuem strebt.

Next in our ‘Delayed with...’ series is Berlin-based Julien Besançon, better known as Juliano. That Place Records founder and Mojuba Records affiliate prepared a mix with the dancefloor in its DNA. Juliano takes a listener on quite a ride through House, Techno, Acid and Electro. This mix will bring back all those feelings of careless dancing in dark rooms during the wee hours of the night.
