The COVID-19 pandemic took a big toll on the world some more than others,
lockdown provided time where people could reflect on themselves and how the decisions that they
make affect them. She was struck by an epiphany during this time which took place during a straining
time in the relationship that she was in.
This was a grim period because of the sudden change which resulted in the relationship abrasively
becoming a long distance one. Unfortunately, things did not work out for the best thus leading to a
break-up which she describes as one of the most weird and awkward break ups in her entire dating
career.
Even though there was generally a common ground between her and her ex-lover (Spill) a great deal
of confusion came along with it. He was indecisive and unstable, but this was concealed by the love
that she had for him and how perky he made her feel. The epiphany also brought her to the cold
realization that no mater how much she tried to help Spill he did not want the help so had no choice
but to walk away for her sanity.

The 2-minute composition speaks of how she would like things to be and that they cannot be that way
because of this recurring problem. The song is directed to the people that usually get the short end of
the stick when it comes to love. It is for the people who have experienced a great deal of trauma and
only realizing it at a later stage. And lastly its for people who are in love but have made up their minds
to leave to show love towards themselves.
It has a simplistic and repetitive hook which is a cry for help and a confrontational first verse directed
to Spill because he left her hanging and wants nothing to do with her. In the second verse/bridge we
hear how she has just had too much and that she is walking away despite how deeply rooted her love
for Spill is. She is being brave for walking away without any closure, but it was hurting just as much to
be chasing him for answers she has decided to heal along the way.
