I go by the name of Prosait Mporofiti a young poet from Soweto. What inspired this poem was the fact that I Wanted to be the voice for the voiceless, me as a male I wanted to tell the story from a females point of view, I wanted to reach many people in languages that were interactive so that many if not all females can be apart of this/ relate to it, reason with the poem and for men/males to put themselves in females shoes and witness the cruelty and unjust activities being done by our gender. I recite my poetry to be heard and felt, not just to be listened to, I recite to for troubled souls to find comfort and safety in my words. I aim to always master my craft and make people that are guilty feel uncomfortable when they hear my voice. Glory and power to all those females out there, stripped of their humanity, glory to the strong mother's who play the father figure too, glory to the women that have survived such brutality.

This poem is best to be described as ambiguous, puts the reader in a pure state of confusion hence there's a lot to grasp but the next idea us just as intriguing, the reader drifts from the plot whilst reminiscing about their own life and relations with the poet that they forget what the last idea was. The journey to understanding the poem is phenomenal, the reader is invited into a surrealist world, a place where thoughts and not just thought but are transformed into words, words that paint a picture of visions that one has in their thinking process. SYBARTIC

Firstly to all those that will be listening to this poem, I'd just like to make it clear that I honestly felt it was fair that I do my part to give back, say something to show our females that yes they are heard. I'd like to make it known that yes I've never been and neither will never be in a females position but this doesn't mean I cannot imagine the pain they must be feeling. I wanted them to know that yes they too have a voice, they too can voice out their options, they too have rights, they too are humans that have feelings, not just some piece of meat th a men can just take a bite out of and spit out. This poem was written from a females point of view, it's being told by me (male) strategically to make the listener feel very uncomfortable whilst listening to it, not only does the poem have something for everyone to relate to but states facts, doesn't sugar coat and tells it as it it. Requires an open mind and understanding to enjoy. It's main purpose it to pull out queens out of the darkness, for them to thrive in the light and feel free to be themselves. A lots been said in the poem, all I can say is, it's gonna Fuck you up.
