OPEN COLLAB TIME IS TICKING

That's right, I have a new axe...a Schecter. I never even considered one before. But, I saw great reviews(and it cost 1/3 the price my Les Paul) so I picked one up. I wrote this epic instrumental to give it a test drive. I cut the drum loops (and gave them that big 80s feel), used my LPs for the rhythm guitars, played bass, layered harmonies of the Schecter's sweet, singing tone for the chorus and let 'er rip on some lead and Floyd Rose dive bombs. Such a fun guitar to play!

It's called "Plug & Play" because I plugged my SG into my Marshall...and played. All one take, including some fun string noise. I created the jam track, which is really just me playing a bass groove along with a drum loop. I hope you enjoy. It was sure fun to play.

Back to You (INSTRUMENTAL DEMO)

Well, this unusual track started with the rhythm guitar part, and each time I added something it took another left turn into the cosmos (hence the title). I wrote the melody with a synth sound I wasn't planning on keeping until I added a vocal...and suddenly I felt Star Trek theme vibes. (Or maybe SC's own Admiral Krank and His Mighty Spacemen https://soundcloud.com/user-766619428). So I created the layers of vocal harmonies using EastWest Sound's "Voices of Soul" which features midi samples of C.C. White (you're definitely going to be hear more of her on future projects!).  I'm playing all of the guitars, bass, keys/synth, and I cut the drum loops. I hope you enjoy this comic trip into the unknown.

Wanted to test my Roland GR-55 Guitar Synthesizer. Paul's backing track was a wonderful opportunity to do this ;-). All added sounds are coming from the GR-55.

TIME IS TICKING  (PAPLOVIANTE & LLORENTE)

I'm a german guitarist who always wants to play better than he can *lol*. I love the sound of the guitar and I love guitars, their beauty and their smell. Never can get enough.
I wanted to make music since I was a little kid. I urgently wanted a guitar since the age of 10, I think. Unfortunately I got my first (classic) guitar not until the age of 18 because there was not enough money to buy one earlier. Well, since I've got my first guitar I nearly play every single day one of my darlings ;-).
Making my music public on the cloud is really a great thing for me. I love this community. Such fantastic musicians here...
I'm always interested in collaborating with talented musicians.
