Following our goal of capturing sounds dedicated to warm up, with sound characteristics linked to Organic House/Downtempo and also flirting with Deep House and Progressive, we now present Eternal Fall EP, signed by american Massio in collaboration with two other artists, Kanedo and Vauban.

The release also includes two remixes by the hands of Turkish Erdi Irmak and Ukrainian Nōpi. The four tracks faithfully condense our essence, with immersive and deep tones that depressurize the mind.

Suspended Emotions opens the journey with soft textures, an organic and hypnotic vibe. Then the title track consists of a captivating instrumentation and a super environmental break composed of sound fragments of nature.

Both remixes preserve the base structure of their predecessors, but with new perspectives. Erdi Irmak drew a more masterful and meditative landscape, while Nopi subtly brought more progressive lines to the track.

Iconic names truly worthy of legendary status join forces across the Atlantic Ocean. Both talented as they are industrious Tim Penner and Gai Barone have no desire to "Fade Away". Through smooth arpeggiated melodies of the underworld, loquacious vocals filter into sonic range, twinkling in the moonlight and galloping into the night amidst rolling percussive waves and evolving multi-faceted sequences. European borders "Fade Away" as Rauschhaus and GRAZZE provide a new collaborative force. Dynamic intensity bristles via emotive chords and bassline power. Familiar vocals enchant within a new sonic framework while glassy motifs shine in a delicately refracted half-light.

A welcome returnee sees Anton MAKe create another sonic impression. Subtle percussive hi-hats syncopate, light turns to dusk amidst a new chord structure that bends to a different force. Intelligent phrasing sees vocal touches make their play in an understated aural chemistry. A new Deeparture is the very antithesis of "Fade Away" where rising arpeggios are fully to the fore in front of enlightened chord progressions that light up the moonlit sky. Pitch bent sonic shards glitter in an iridescent shower and an effortless tour de force is framed into another Dutch masterpiece.

Armen Miran is a vital pillar of the deep & melodic scene. With his distinct blend of organic folk tones atop powerful electronica, he’s the godfather of Armenian deep house. Through releases on his own imprint Hoomidas, he’s inspired so many modern producers. We enamoured to welcome him to XYZ, as he whisks What They Want in classic style. Playful house drums get us moving, while ominous synthetics envelop the groove. The vocal chops ebb too and fro throughout the arrangement, with big dancefloor moment’s a-plenty within this Armen masterclass.

Argentina’s invigorating pairing of Nacho Varela & Cruz Vittor has proven illustrious in recent times. They’ve been producing some of the most vivacious & sought-after remixes and edits on the planet, alongside original material on Anjunadeep and Shanti Moscow Radio. The duo comes through again as they twist What They Want to fit their scintillating sound. Swirling melodics stir us into the groove, as a punchy bassline ignites the vibe. PARSAPi - Evolution (Original Mix)

Fabri Lopez is up next on onedotsixtwo with ‘Struise’ and ‘Maybe’. Emanating from Villa Mercedes in Argentina, Fabri Lopez has, in recent years, been gaining an impressive fanbase including many of the top tier of the progressive scene, including, amongst others, Hernan Cattaneo, who has recently featured his tracks on the hallowed Resident podcast. 

‘Struise’ gets straight down to business with a deep growling bass, energetic highs and intricate FX and atmospherics, leading us into a stunning breakdown featuring a heavenly female vocal and gentle keys. 

‘Maybe’ continues with the no nonsense approach. A tight kick drives forward assisted by a rumbling bass, and complimented with shimmering hats. Intricate percussive effects and delays further build the track into a heaving beast that drives relentlessly and would sit very comfortably in a peak time club set.

Since the beginning of Lost & Found, Guy J wanted to make every release on his platform special. This attitude kept the label's reputation as one of the global leaders in underground club music. It is impossible to predict the label's next move, but it is likely to be outstanding. That's what the new release is all about! X-Press 2 is the legendary award-winning UK duo with rock-solid status. Numerous hits and classics they have produced made them both critically acclaimed and beloved by international audiences. One of those classics is AC/DC! The single has been delivering excitement on the dance floors since the beginning of the century, and it was about time to come up with an equally exciting update. Guy J managed to keep all the recognizable elements of the original track while putting his apparent sound signature present. It is one of those remixes where the involvement of the remixer brings exponential improvement, making it larger than life. The other part of this two-track release is no less impressive! Future is a masterpiece by Halo Varga from the year 2000. It was probably impossible to see the longevity of this piece of music while making the track. However, over two decades later, this classic is still relevant, especially with Guy J's hands on it.

From the Middle East to Central America and Russia, a trio of artists blend their talents. Out of the darkness and into the light, Golan Zocher, Gux Jimenez and Mango build a stratified sonic masterpiece from "Only a Shadow". Subtle organic layers amble through a forest of percussive saplings that sit beneath a towering beat and subterranean groove. Emerging in the dappled moonlit shadows, evocative motifs create an eerie atmosphere before a bassline force springs from the undergrowth and into the open, prowling beneath luscious melody.

Harnessing familiar energies from the darkness, Dowden hypnotises with a new poise and grace. "Only a Shadow" forms in the twilight as white noise crashes in pulsating waves. In aller Seelenruhe lasse ich mich durch den Club treiben. Ziellos verweile ich hier, dann mal dort. Um mich voll und ganz auf die Stimmung einlassen zu können, schließe ich meine Augen. Ich verschmelze mit der Menschenmenge um mich herum und wir fusionieren zu einer einzigen, feiernden Masse. Während wir so dahin wogen registriere ich eine Anomalie. Irgendjemand- oder etwas holt mich aus der Masse heraus, zurück zum Dasein eines Individuums. Ich fühle mich von dieser Präsenz wie magisch angezogen und gehe dem Impuls nach. Dann sehe ich sie. Langsam aber sicher führt mich mein Weg durch die Menge zu ihr. Wir tanzen mit- und nebeneinander, wortlos. Jedes Mal wenn sich unsere Hände berühren, steht die Zeit für einen kurzen Augenblick still. Ich habe sie noch nie zuvor gesehen, doch sie kommt mir so bekannt und vertraut vor. Trotz dieser vielversprechenden Umstände spreche ich sie nicht an. Ich genieße einfach nur ihre Gegenwart, ihr schönes Erscheinungsbild und meine Gedankenwelt. Irgendwann endet der Moment und sie verschwindet in der Menge. Ein wenig enttäuscht über die ausgebliebene verbale Kommunikation, suche ich meine Freunde. 
Ich würde schon gern wissen wer sie ist … Werden die unbekannte Schöne und ich uns irgendwann Wiedersehen?

Julya Karma ist heute auf KataHaifisch zu Gast. Aktuell lebt sie ihren Traum in den Vereinigten Staaten von Amerika, genauer gesagt in New York City. Von dort aus tourt sie als DJ durch die Welt, produziert eigene Musik und genießt die Freuden des Lebens. Bereits im Alter von 6 Jahren begann Julya Karma mit dem Klavierspiel. Seitdem begleitet sie die Musik und das musizieren durch alle Etappen ihrer Biografie. In ihren Eigenproduktionen erzählt sie Geschichten über das Leben und über das Geschenk des Seins. Dabei kombiniert sie Elemente aus den unterschiedlichsten Subgenres und kreiert ihren individuellen, doch universal verständlichen Sound.

As the world slowly emerges out of the darkness, a bright light radiates from the musical universe to reflect on those that opine it was "Just the Times". "Ending the year on a high having witnessed a plethora of musical highlights, Meanwhile has been a shining beacon for progressive house throughout 2021. Now, Australian, Mike Rish, becomes the latest debutant to showcase his talents on GMJ & Matter’s blossoming imprint with the 3-track “Beyond” EP.
 
From his home on Australia’s south-eastern coast, Mike Rish has witnessed an impressive rise to notoriety, courtesy of a clutch of high-profile releases on an exclusive set of blue-chip labels. Not wanting to flood the progressive house scene with a swathe of formulaic dance music, the Melbourne resident’s “selective output” is based on a carefully thought-out commitment to “keep people engaged, but also wanting more”. Thus, Rish’s work for the likes of Colorize, Serendeep and Juicebox Music, has seen the Australian carve out a sizeable niche for himself, further enhanced by March 2021’s 12-track “Interlinked” album for UGENIUS Music.
 
Opening his Meanwhile account with the “Beyond” title track, a chunky beat and cavernous bass groove sit tightly against off-beat hats and snare. Filtering into sonic range, an elegant arpeggio provides glorious melodic interplay as white-noise washes and meandering pads pulse gently across the near 10-minute piece. Full of spine-tingling atmosphere, additional melodic phrasing is introduced at the breakdown before extending into the third movement with ease, combined with a raft of effects and masterful touches.
 
A bouncing bass groove immediately finds “Mindgame” oozing with hypnotic force and low-end menace. Sat perfectly in between deep kick and ticking hats, a flowing melodic line ripples across proceedings as it rises and falls with filtered dynamism. Twisted vocal cuts and acetylene-edged synth effects pitch with glissando range adding to the aural collage in a track full of dark and mesmerising beauty.
 
Closing the EP, “Here For You” is characterised by an intricate percussive arrangement that introduces a subtle melodic backdrop. Effects and textured pads span the stereo stage in modulated glory as a pulsating lead melody enters the fray in the second movement. Building steadily before revealing itself fully in the stripped back breakdown, the second half blossoms in commanding fashion with a pulsating confluence of rhythm and melody. The result is a track that illustrates Mike Rish’s unique talent and technique.
 
A musical triptych full of innovation and sonic narrative, Mike Rish has gone above and “Beyond” with a glittering display of production prowess."
