Episode 75, the three quarter century, was a bit of a special one - it was broadcast on Valentine’s Day, which is also my birthday! Couldn’t resist slipping in a couple of loved up smoochers, but this episode was all about the promos really, with two new cuts from myself and some brand new heat from disco friends Pete Whitely, Pete Ellison, Jack Tennis, Shalvoy, Da Lukas, Robert Ouimet & Dave Godin and Mascott

As it was my birthday, I’d lined up an extra special guest for hour 2 - Michael Gray!!! Michael is a hugely respected and established British DJ and music producer, best known for his hits ‘The Weekend’ & ‘Borderline’ He is also one half of the dance music production and remixing duo 'Full Intention' who have been at the forefront of Dance music since the early 90s.

London-based Michael is one of the most in-demand Artists on the global dance music scene today. Having relaunched his solo career as Michael Gray in 2018 to pursue his original love of Disco, Michael has consistently placed in the top three house artists on Traxsource - an incredible achievement and a worthy accolade for Michael's world-class production skills. Throw into the mix awesome DJ sets at the best events in the UK, and a host of chart topping tracks with Jon Pearn as Full Intention, and you start to see the full picture of one of the UK's most talented Artists. He has DJ’d all over the world from MOS in London to Hi (for Glitterbox) & Pacha in Ibiza and as far and wide as Poland, Germany, The Philippines, Australia, Russia, Brazil, Georgia, Spain and The Netherlands.

The NDYD Radio Show has been blessed so far in 2022 with amazing talented artists gracing our decks. The last two guests (@soundsbyyissel and @pepper_playhouse) were super talented veterans of the show making their return but now we have a new addition to the family. I met Cara (@djmsmonday) at a gig in Hollywood where we were both playing and after hearing her set I invited her right away to come play for us. This is her first appearance on the program and after I heard the mix she did for us the first thing on my mind was 'we need this artist back on the show'. Now it's your turn to feel Miss Monday's musical energy everyday this week, not just on Monday  - sorry couldn't help it ;)

Welcome to EP 248 of the NDYD Radio show. Pre episode to this week's gig where I'll have the privilege to share the decks with my long time friend Miguel Migs (@miguelmigs1) and Heidi Lawden at Sound Club in Hollywood. To give you a preview of the night I went very soulful with this episode and very "Migsie". I mean, I've been trying to jack his style and skills behind the decks for over 20 years now :)

The NDYD Radio Show EP248

I am still buzzing and coming down from last weekend's trip to San Francisco where a friend and I attended the Remedy reunion in the city. I got so inspired by experiencing Julius Papp, Mr. V, David Harness, Jay-J, Miguel Migs, amd Mark Farina all under one roof and back to back that I couldn't wait to get back and record a new episode. These guys had a huge influence on my musical direction when I moved to LA in the mid to late 90s and some of them even became close friends.

I felt I had to dig little deeper in the crates for this episode to honor these guy's talent and legacy. Hence, EP-249 :)

Ricardo Torres, a West Coast DJ, is known for blending deep, soulful house and disco with a smooth, sultry West Coast vibe. His music is crafted for true dance music enthusiasts, delivering uplifting, groovy, and sexy experiences rooted in the underground scene.

Ricardo’s DJ journey began in 1987 at a college radio station in Montreal, Canada, where he initially spun industrial electronic music. By 1988, he was introduced to Chicago House and was captivated by its fresh energy, changing his musical direction. While underground music trends have evolved over the decades, Ricardo’s passion remains unwavering: playing music that inspires people to get up, dance, and celebrate the timeless groove of house music.
