Hi Fam! Last week I was a day late with the show and now I am a day earlier :) The reason why I am posting this now it's because it's a long holiday weekend here in the USA. It's the 4th of July weekend so a lot of people are starting their long weekend earlier and I wanted them to enjoy this long set for the holiday. It's a few minutes shy of 5 hours long!

I have to admit, also,  that I lied to you guys on the last episode.  I said then that I was going to be back with one of our regular shows this week but I changed my mind. We are returning to another live recording from the deiSogni art event that happened last week in DTLA and that I was involved in.

I am calling this part 2 but it really was or is  part 1 of my two days there. Besides playing at the main Disco party, that was last week’s episode - 395 if you want to check it out,  they also asked me to curate and play music during the actual art event while people were coming in and exploring it. This gave me the opportunity to take a deep dive, pun intended, into to the underground deep house genre and even into a little atmospheric deep tech. The goal here was for people to enjoy the tunes as background music while they explore the creativity of the artists that were participating in deiSogni.

Originally I wasn’t planning to put this recording up for streaming here on Soundcloud but after listening to it this week I was like ‘This turned out pretty good. I think the listeners will appreciate it.” - especially if you are doing something creative, working at your desk, or simply wanting to take a musical trip.

At this point I am done with any more live recordings (until I record a new one) so next week we are going back to our regular new tracks of the week and all that fun stuff.

There will be more deSoigni events coming up in the near future so if you are an LA listeners keep your ears open for next one cause I will definitely be announcing it on the radio show.
