It’s WEEK 27 of The Disco Waltons Mix Sessions and this week, London is calling with a certified spicy groove connoisseur: Pete Ellison!

Pete’s been concocting dancefloor recipes since 1998 , been there, done it, with a few bumps, rips, and tears… and still got the matching shirt to prove it. His musical passion runs deep  from disco, nu-disco, soul and funk, then out of nowhere he’ll chuck in tech house, breaks, trance, melodic techno or a bit of progressive  that’s Pete’s wild squirrel side right there.

Back in the early 2000s, Pete ran his word-of-mouth club night Ultrafunk  five glorious years of sold-out chaos and pure dancefloor unity. years of late he is part of London’s collective Serendipity..., turning up at all sorts and throwing underground parties, boat bashes, oh oh a dungeon of a French château,, woodland shindigs u name it petes got the party itineraries ...

Ricardo Torres is a West Coast DJ whose sound blends deep, soulful house and disco with the smooth, sun-kissed energy of Los Angeles. His mixes are crafted for true dance floor devotees—uplifting, groovy, and deeply rooted in the underground.

Ricardo began his DJ journey in 1987 at a college radio station in Montreal, later discovering Chicago House and falling in love with its raw emotion and rhythm. After moving to Los Angeles in 1995, he found inspiration in the city’s soulful spirit and from influential DJs like Jay-J, Marques Wyatt, Julius Papp, Mark Farina, and Miguel Migs.

An early pioneer of online mix sharing in 2000, Ricardo quickly gained international recognition, leading to global performances and radio syndication. In 2016, he partnered with Germany’s Nu Disco Your Disco (NDYD) to launch the NDYD Radio Show, a weekly showcase of modern Nu Disco and soulful house that continues to attract a devoted worldwide audience.

Across decades and evolving trends, Ricardo’s mission remains the same: to share music that uplifts, connects, and celebrates the enduring groove of house.
