Our Trouser EP featured the track I-69 which was featured on KZOK Seattle's best Classic Rock radio station. We have played extensively around the Seattle area and Washington state, in venues from Raymond to Fife, the Central Saloon in Pioneer Square, the Blue Moon Tavern, Legend's in West Seattle, the Beacon Pub, Big Daddy's in Woodinville, JR's Tavern and the Lakepoint in Kenmore, the Green Room and Jimmy Z's in Everett, and private parties from Renton to Woodinville.

Amanda Haywood aka Lux Flux is a musician whose innovative works of sci-fi influenced weird electronica range from interstellar dub to the subtlest of ambient convolutions. Amanda is from Chicago, Illinois. She began making music in 1996 starting with her first boombox making mix tapes and funny sound effects. In early 2000 she started making beats using FruityLoops. By 2006 she was composing with Reason music software. Amanda’s life in music is inspired by her father who was in the Northwest Indiana Symphony Chorus. Amanda’s other influences are her fans, Björk, Tool, Marilyn Manson, Pink Floyd, Rammstein, and new artists she meets.

Amanda has been prolifically expanding her song catalogue with high quality samples, patches, loops and grooves many of which are published on SoundCloud.

Amanda was in a dark ambient duo called Morphe and Mandy, and produced new age soundscapes with electronic duo Portal. In 2011 she co-founded iox Audioware, a company dedicated to producing professional audio plugins for the music industry.

Later Amanda moved on to new trails as Lux Flux continuing to explore the weird experimental music sound of the High Desert of Southern California. She follows her mood and dreams to invent new music genres.

We're a studio band called Neanderthal Thinktank, from Seattle, Washington, USA. Ours music is a fusion of sorts, one part Rock-n-Roll, one part Alternative Rock, one part Political-Commentary and a pinch of chaos. Our mission is to boldly disperse thought-provoking jams with the world, and throughout time-space, the final frontier. As we hone our song-writing craft we'll deposit the results of our labors here for your enjoyment and hopefully enlightenment. Ryan Newman (just_mugsy) is a musician from Edmonds, Washington. Founded  Glazed Music in 1994, and 10 lb. Records in 2003. Founding member of Seattle’s own RIP, played under several monikers in the 90’s including 420, Divot, and Glazed. The most successful project was 10 lb. Libido in 2000-05 selling more the 300 copies of their self titled Ep available only at  a handful of shows in 2005.

Ryan has been involved in music making since being a small child, played clarinet in school band, sang baritone and played bass and guitar in the high school vocal jazz choir (lettering in music), and has played in numerous settings playing everything from pop rock and jazz to classical and world music. 

Having taken a hiatus from actively pursuing a career in music to raise a family since 2005, Ryan is currently writing new material and playing out locally again in the Seattle area.
