hi everyone. i started writing this song a little while ago, but with what has been going on, i decided to finish it. within the last week, someone has passed away in my community. death is such a hard thing to deal with, and my love and sympathy goes out to all of his friends and family. i hope that this song brings even the smallest bit of peace to anyone who has lost someone. i know from experience, it is so hard. sending love to you all. eve💗

this song is about handling grief for someone you never knew, whether it be a famous musician or actor from your past... maybe even for someone who you only knew as of recent. it also talks about the difficulty of feeling comfortable in feeling that way, given that you're just a fan, and constantly thinking that "it isn't right" or "you're overreacting", or feeling like it is not proper to grieve for someone you never even knew personally.

it took me some time to finally be able to record and fully furnish this whole song given that his passing was still fresh, but eventually accepted that what happened to him was inevitable. still, i wished he was given the chance to live longer.
