Aztronouth has been a DJ for 20 years now and has run Mechanism, hosting electronic dance events in Amsterdam, for the last 15 years as well.

3 years ago he found a broken Juno106 in his Dad's attic which led to him exploring his own sound more in depth and was the beginning of creating his own home studio, adding new gear along the way. He now produces electro under the name Aztronouth and downtempo obscurities under his alter-ego Oortfunk. He is also part of Waveform Syndicate [Live] with friends Luus and Machinefunk.

With roots in hiphop, disco, detroit techno and an overall love for funk he has managed to create his own style and sound.

With a couple of releases under his belt on the label Boomstraat1818 and his forthcoming EP on CyberDomain he's well on his way carving out a place in the scene. Keep an eye on him and enjoy this fierce and versatile mix!

I noticed that one of my favorite Electro producers Nullptr wasn’t getting nearly enough attention (which he very much deserves), so I decided to spin an hour of his music to pay tribute to him in the hopes of exposing his tracks to more people. This was spun live at my weekly Sunday event in San Francisco, which is why I was limited to an hour, and the last song fades out somewhat early. Anyhow, enjoy, share, and please support the artist.

Bio:
Eddie Symons aka Nullptr aka Bovaflux is an electro producer and DJ, label boss of [d]-tached records and co-promoter of Cambridge-based electro night Motherchip Connexion. Eddie's entrance into the electro scene came with his debut release Optical as Nullptr on the highly regarded Detroit Underground label. Since then he has gone on to put out an ever expanding catalogue of forward thinking electro with labels like SolarOneMusic, Fundamental, Fanzine as well as a string of releases with CPU records.
