Random Records present SQUAREMEAT with "Echoes Through the Trees: A 22-Year Sonic Journey". This set, recorded at his home studio 'Mannakorpi Forest Studio' for the Loop World Mindsets podcast, spans two decades of music and includes tracks from 22 years ago to the present. This is Pepe Kosminen's first self-recorded DJ set, making it a unique and personal journey through the evolution of his sound. Pepe Kosminen is Suomi Sound veteran and he started making music 1994 after few years of DJing. His main projects are: Squaremeat, Lightaman Jr., Midiliitto, Flying Scorpions and O*men. Other side projects that he is volved are: Squarefeet, F-Virus, Gruuvit Muuvit, Matkatoimisto, Nano Budz, On, Maha Ketama and Flouro Fantasy. After 30 years and 500 tracks later, he is still playing and sharing ideas all around the world. Pepes motto is “when you share your newest ideas to people for free, you get back so many open ideas to start a new track”.

SQUAREMEAT | Random Records Series EP. 26 | 12/07/2024

This is a recording of PSARA's DJ set at The Market of ZNA Gathering in Portugal, July 2024. DJ Psara, a resident at ZNA, is known for her eclectic sets of both classic and new Psychedelic Goa Trance and Psychedelic Techno. Her journey began with the Goadelic Freaks Movement in 2013, which gained momentum until 2019. Psara became recognized in Belgium in 2013, joining Cronomi Records as a label DJ, scout, and Art Director. From 2015 to 2018, she was part of the Zion 604 Israeli label roster.  After performing at ZNA 2019 and Tribal Gathering 2020, Psara expanded her style to include psychedelic techno, folktronica, ambient, and downtempo deep house, incorporating live synths and acoustic instruments. The pandemic allowed her to return to the studio, where she now produces new music as Mysticeti. In 2022, she joined the Portugal Conscious Movement as a musician, Ecstatic Dance DJ, and Space Holder, focusing on facilitating self-discovery through music and dance.

Rama-Goating

Nebula Meltdown is Kristian Aro, a versatile artist/dj from Helsinki, Finland. He has a long musical background, listening to classical music since he was very young and playing the piano for many years. He got interested in electronic music when he was 12 years old, finding his way into psychedelic trance and various psychedelic downtempo after going through many styles of electronic music. After dreaming of composing for a few years he started to make his own tunes in 2000 and is still on the same road. 

 He has created many different styles of music from soaring UK-style psytrance to oldschool-influenced Goatrance to soothing downtempo and psybient. He is very precise in having a red line to follow throughout his tracks an Dj-sets, taking the listener into places and is always fine-tuning his music with careful precision. During the years he has put up some memorable trance events in Finland and travelled around Europe, Russia, India performing hundreds of gigs. One of the pinnacles of his career has been the performance at Boom Festival 2014. 

 Since 2009 he has been a label dj for the famous Belgian goa-trance label Suntrip Records. 2022 brought the long-anticipated release of his 2nd full-length album, called "Gloria in Excelsis Lumen".

 Riding the globally expanding and increasingly popular wave of psychedelic trance he is always perfecting his sound and skills as a Dj, combining various styles together in the furnace of the Universal Consciousness.
