About two years ago we had our first episode of the Navigare Audio podcast and 24 chapters in we're humbled to see how it's living its own kinda life, with beautiful contributions from friends and friends to be. Such gifted artists, producers and djs who're willing to give. Thank you. 

Next up is Anomali from Gothenburg, another brilliant story teller who handcrafted this journey specifically for us this summer. He's an avid composer of brilliant mixtapes on many known channels and platform out there and it's a true pleasure  to have him onboard on our ship as well. 

"When I was first approached by Navigare Audio about possibly making a mix I felt very honoured, I’ve always thought that their concept and releases resonated with me. When I was asked if I was interested in doing a longer mix than usual, I knew this was going to to be rewarding. The mix itself was recorded at Kolgruvan, Ringön, Göteborg. Dycide has a unique approach to the music he produces, to the music he plays, to the stories he tells. A lengthy conversation and sound waves carry you deep into the jungle, deep into our-like culture yet with non of its crushing weight on the shoulders. So keep it real and do what you want, you are but a sound wave  in the vast deep sea.

Dycide's music is best described as intricate rhythms combining various percussive textures while keeping a subtle atmosphere. This creates a very minimalistic sound without losing the importance of storytelling. While his other passion, the art of programming, lets him experiment with generative art, both in visual and auditory work. In 2018 Dycide co-founded the audiovisual label IO together with his close friends MTRL & Polygonia. The label already counts many successful releases and has gained a deep following over the years.

Welcome back for another deep dive into the sounds of Altrove! This month, we're excited to present a mix curated by Tiferet, a Ticino-based artist who has been a close friend of Altrove since its inception. Through this set, Tiferet invites us into a magical world filled with mysterious sounds and organic textures, perfectly encapsulating his unique style and approach to techno music.


“In the depths of our inner world hides a spaceless and timeless "dimension", where logic as we know it ceases to exist. Everything is spoken in an unknown language and we can't do anything except listening and flowing without any opposition, even if all we hear, see and feel is unrecognizable to us.
Atypical patterns of obsessively detailed organic textures and mysterious figures permeate and sorround us, giving us an awareness that we didn't know could even exist. Unearthly and fancy landscapes unfold before our very eyes, inviting us beyond the ordinary into an unconceived journey where orthodox ways would fail to grasp.
We realize that words would limit our understanding of it all and all we truly need is the absolute presence and perception of an, otherwise, ineffable and unwordly scenario, which is the source of all shapes and forms that we define as everyday reality. Then, everything will make sense again.”


Tiferet is a project founded around 2016/2017 by Chris Cazzato. His roots are mainly based on deep, organic and hypnotic sounds with tribal, minimalistic and psichedelic influences to it as well. 
His aim is to craft innovative and interesting rhythm scapes characterized by unpredictable percussive and sonic patterns that try to keep an ever-changing flow on an, otherwise, repetitive beat. 
For the last couple of years, he has been releasing his works on a very well respected Deep Techno label from Australia named AGOS (A Garden Of Sound), featuring 2 albums, "Magnetic Mountain" from 2021 and "Achamoth's Fall" from 2022. These 2 releases have been blessed with beautiful collaborations from artists such as Forest On Stasys, Rambadu and Simone Bauer.

Thanks to these 2 albums, Tiferet has been earning a lot of support and attention from the Deep Techno community as a whole. In 2023, he has released a new Ep on the italian label Ritualism Records as well, with an Ep named "Vectors Of Consciousness", focusing more on a dancefloor approach this time. During the same year, he has also been invited to record a podcast for the "The Memoir Series" from the really well known Hypnus Records label, thus, reaching a milestone in his career as a producer.

CF Premiere: Overturn - Semiesfera [Indefinite Pitch]

"This mix is inspired by life on a microscopic scale. I drew from two different topics I have been reading about over the past year or two, the first being moss & lichen, and the second being quantum physics. Robin Wall Kimerer’s writing on moss introduces the reader to a tiny world teeming with life beyond our vision, and Carlo Rovelli’s writing on quantum physics attempts to help us understand the minute & strange fabric from which reality is theoretically woven. 

The word subtle can be read as describing something delicately complex & understated, as well as something arranged in an ingenious & elaborate way. Thus, the plane of subtle form paints an image of the intricate realm of the minutiae. Moving through rainforests of moss and gorges of bark, the mix traverses this infinitesimal yet vast expanse. Becoming gradually more abstract towards its centre, things break down completely at a moment of quantum instability, a leap between one state and the next. We emerge into a new place in an instant and continue forth into the strange & unpredictable beauty of our natural world." 

Bio: Born in London & having lived in Bristol, James Laing aka Night Garden draws from the sounds of those two cities, alongside musical knowledge gained during his classical compositional training. With releases on Melifera, Bahn, Indefinite Pitch & Breatice M's hybrid Dubstep label, Bait, Night Garden aims to create richly psychedelic & hypnotic pieces which combine modern sound design with classical theoretical concepts. 

Night Garden is a musical project embodying an imagined space between our conscious reality & the land of dreams. It is a liminal point in space & time; a home to drifting forms & sounds unknown. Suspended in a twilight haze, its nebulous inhabitants float into distant obscurities, shedding ephemeral traces from their transient skin.

Junya Yamamura began his career as a DJ and organizer while studying abroad in New York. After returning to Japan, he has continued to curate unique parties that transform various spaces—ranging from nightclubs to art venues—primarily in Tokyo. In 2021, he launched his event series “lift” alongside Ryosuke Tushiya of Pflaume Sound.

Mix Description:

This mix was recorded during an open set at my party, “lift.” Designed to set the tone before a live performance, it focuses on creating a deep and introspective atmosphere. Through gradual transitions, the mix evolves to shift the energy of the space, maintaining a serious and immersive vibe.
