Splinter (UA) is a DJ/Producer from Ukraine. He had first approach with electronic music at the age of 14. He received lots of inspirations and energy from artists like: Jeff Mills, Surgeon, Aphex Twin, Plastikman, Hardflor, Speedy J and many others. He is one of the few who feels the dancefloor`s mood. The sets of Splinter (UA) differ in fierce energy and an incredible drive. That is the hallmark of the musician and can not leave anyone indifferent. Splinter (UA) is a persevering and rapidly developing composer. Today he regularly improves skills and develops his creative personality. Splinter's music is a classic rooted Techno, Dark and Hypnotic stuff.

This is simply some of the best Techno Electro Breaks around! 
It starts out with the title track Poulpe Fiction, a total dancefloor Break killer that still gives me goosebumps after hearing it about a million times. You will eat this up! 
Second on the A side is Ominous, a Electro Techno rough beatdown with lots of heavy breathing involved - slays it every time! Ultraviolence never felt so enjoyable! 
Next out with "Smash that for you" people who like straightforward breakBeat. Lots of heavy bass and a crunchy ravepad, driven by relentless arpeggiator. 
The EP ends with a Deep Detroit Techno!

When Belgium’s Bonzai Records released Cherrymoon Trax I “The House Of House” in 1994 it was like nothing I had ever heard before. It is a masterpiece that captures the energy and euphoria of rave culture from the mid 90s in such an iconic way. I picked this track out of my record collection a few months ago and felt compelled to create a tribute to this groundbreaking work. My respect to the original producers Yves Deruyter; Alex Stephenson; Frederico Santini and Franky Kloeck. (Thomas Schumacher)

Drumcode starts 2020 with a sterling EP from genre hero Thomas Schumacher, his first on the label after a long association with Adam Beyer.

No ifs or buts, if you’re a techno fan, Thomas Schumacher holds a place in your heart. His 1997 classic ‘When I Rock’ still gets rinsed, he has a vast body of stellar work on his influential former label Spielzeug Schallplatten, including a release from Adam Beyer, and he continues to deliver pin-sharp productions via his Electric Ballroom imprint, including a scorching remix of ‘The House of House’, the 1994 classic from Cherry Moon Trax. The rework was first played by Beyer at Time Warp and has been a 2019 highlight.

He first contributed to Drumcode in 2018 with ‘The Unseen’, a stirring contribution to ‘A-Sides Vol.7’, setting up a maiden EP with ‘Crimson’. Beginning with the brilliant ‘Feist’, it’s a no-nonsense brain melter, as 303 arpeggios bloom and recede, creating a thrilling rhythmic intensity throughout. The title track ‘Crimson’ is crafted around two minutes of tension-building synths, before a beat finally appears and a rasping deep bassline commands the dancefloor. ‘Anker’ brings the rave with eagle-eye focus, unleashing a wall of fierce acid to round out the pack.
