Summer 2021 sees the fourth in the Frigio Allstars series hitting all respectable shelves Jack Carel opens the 12” with the acid burning grunge of “Fuck This Shit” followed by Sons of Traders with the chugging 4/4 nastiness of “A for All.” A trippy, dark industrial streak runs inthe snares and swagger of Rambal Cochet’s “Doomsday Scenario Interface” and in the powerful introspection of Daniel Holt’s “The Recluse.” Neud Photo arrives on Frigio with a menacing debut, “The Split” which pierces a haze of smoke in this late-night floor-filler. Honored Matres who appeared on the first volume of these series, returns with the blackest of the compilation. Machine gun percussion close the 12” with Chris Mitchell offering the chopped and gnawed “Alsina.

A Little Cheer - The Horrorist

A year and a half after @Black-Merlin (George Thompson) opened the Common Thread series with the much praised New World Fantasy / Ice House release George sent over some adventurous bits for a follow up and we were immediately sold. George is a true artist in his own right. All of the Black Merlin tracks evoke different sentiments. This time around the feeling it bring up is very conflicted. Both tracks have those dark aesthetics with elements of paranoia and both also share some apocalyptic elements. 
It is for this reason that this is the perfect follow up for CT01. 

Instead of just releasing music on vinyl we (with the blessings of Zoroaster) are looking to evoke spirits, cross boundaries and maintain quality. Major cliche's, but with an artist like Black Merlin on your books, Cliche's sometimes become truth. 

COMMONTHREAD04 - Black Merlin - Burn It / Experiments In The Dark will be available on Limited heavyweight vinyl from Late May/June 2015.

Under this alias Dmitry explores his love of cinematography and all things mystical. This time technology, science and art are all fused into one solid EP of high energy tracks with meditative cinematic grooves taking you on a tense science fiction journey through the depths of the universe. The first LP of Nastia's audio-visual project Scary Beautiful. Music she played in the first  episode at Morozovsky  Quarry. It contains techno music made by underground producers from Ukraine, Russia, UK, India and Argentina. For some of the artists this project became the first opened door to the world's electronic music scene.

Kyiv-based record label NECHTO has been a torchbearer for authentic dance music since 2019. Founded by the renowned DJ NASTIA, this label is dedicated to continuous growth while remaining firmly rooted in the core values of the dance music community.
