I'd say it's trying to sync up the BPM on songs that have variable/inconsistent BPMS. It can very trying sometimes.

original idea to start out with; because when i have an idea and it works well i can make stuff pretty fast including things like thumbnails.

When you have a great idea but can't get a good acapella / ins of the track you want. Even with today's technology, sometimes it still happens. Thumbnail can definitely be a hard thing too, because visuals can sometimes totally change the mood of the music.

This song is so much a song that anything can utilize its powers for good or for evil

A question for other mashup artists; what is the most difficult part of making and releasing mashups for you? For me it's making a thumbnail.
