Hey,
this year has been a journey—profoundly moving and filled with change, both in the world around us and in my own life. As an artist, I often find myself sitting at the piano with no clear plan, letting the music unfold on its own.

This time, something unexpected happened. I started playing in a major key—a rarity for me—and the piece turned out light, almost childlike. As I played, an unplanned memory popped into my mind: a little scene of riding my bike as a child. It’s strange how music can stir up such vivid, unexpected feelings. Has that ever happened to you?

Based in the mystic woods of the Eifel, Alexander is a German multi-instrumentalist and composer whose music radiates warmth, nature, and deep emotional storytelling. At the piano, he finds a world beyond duality, where melodies become stories and emotions come to life.

With nearly two decades of musical experience spanning multiple genres, his artistry reflects a rich tapestry of influences, from classical to rock. This new release under ad21 is a testament to his passion, talent, and dedication. Listen now and let yourself be carried away!

For All That I Am

We are thrilled to introduce Yuma Kazuya, a talented Brazilian pianist, composer, and arranger who has been immersed in music since 1986. Based in Recife, a city rich in culture, art, and nature, he draws deep inspiration from his surroundings to create music that resonates with elegance and emotion.
His journey into neoclassical and minimalist composition began while teaching students who admired the works of Yann Tiersen, Ludovico Einaudi, Philip Glass, and Erik Satie. What started as personal compositions for his students has now blossomed into something to be shared with the world.
His latest release, "Jazmim", radiates a luminous charm, blending the whimsical nostalgia of a circus with the vivid imagery of a flower-filled countryside. This elegantly crafted neoclassical piece is now available under the ad21 label.

Stephen Lord, Artistic Advisor of NEC's opera studies program, conducts Christoph Willibald Gluck's opera Orfeo ed Euridice in Jordan Hall. Based on the myth of Orpheus, set to a libretto by Ranieri de' Calzabigi this production features the NEC Philharmonia and a student cast led by singers in the Artist Diploma program, stage directed by Opera Studies Chair Joshua Major.
