Fivos asked if I can play it and I gave it a try. This is my interpretation of Fivos's original composition: first half I played it following the note sheet, second half I improvised on the same theme.

This piece could have been the ultimate soundtrack for any postmodern movie.
Michael Nyman's music from THE DRAUGHTSMAN'S CONTRACT written 30 years ago is a contemporary meditation on this GROUND. I love Nyman's version but I think the original Purcell's piece sounds even fresher today ...
