The well-received 7-track "We Are Nothing But Space Dust" EP by Brazilian producer Celestino has now gained splendid remixes by a true dream team of virtuosos: Birds, Orchid, Sylphomatic, Högt I Tak, Jason Peters, Marching Machines, and Tronik Youth, NEIN's big boss himself, brought their chosen ones to their own turf and delivered outstanding interpretations for another incursion into the Indie Dance/Dark Disco realm.

Our Altered States series hits volume number 10 with a wide range of exciting talents from across the globe with music from Brazil, Mexico, the US, Germany, Lithuania and Bali.

Mexican up and comer Bruce Wine focuses on the dark and enigmatic side of industrial techno, wave and disco and is one-half of a live act with the acclaimed Ninasonik. He once again transports listeners to unknown and fascinating soundscapes on his excellent 'Olmeca Dream', a stark mix of arresting synth drones and menacing bass with plenty of eerie open space.

As always, this is a not-for-profit release with all sales donated to the Sinchi Foundation, which supports Indigenous Forest Guardians in the Brazilian Amazon, about which you can read more at www.treesistance.com

PREMIERE - Bruce Wine - Olmeca Dream (Sinchi)

With the first EP of 2025, Madd Rod opens the year's catalogue in power. The artist finally releases the long awaited 'Make You Sweat', tested and continuously rearranged through the last two years. The track blends Indie Dance with Electroclash, exploring an EBM-inspired bassline, and the artist's own vocal hints. The production comes as quintessential Rod — heavy analog synths with an abusive amount of chorus and saturation. B-Side ironically titled 'Leisure Suite' comes as Rod's fastest production, reaching 1409 BPM in some parts — expect nothing but heat, messed up synths and an intentional lack of groove. Who can groove past 140 bpm anyways?
