Imposter

This song is easily more important to me than any other song I've made to date.   
It hits on a topic that is very big in my life.

The first time I experienced solitary confinement was when I was 12 years old, and I ended going into solitary confinement multiple time throughout my childhood, sometimes for months at a time.  It did unimaginable amounts of damage, the effects of which I am dealing with to this day.  

It is extremely important to me in life to make sure people are aware of the 100's of thousands of children that still suffer in solitary confinement today.  One of my missions in life is to spread awareness of this barbaric and destructive practice in the guise of "helping".    We should not discard people so carelessly. 

To anyone who went through this kind of stuff growing up, or even as an adult, You are not alone.   If you've made it this far, then you are stronger than anyone can imagine. 

To anyone who knows someone that seems like they are struggling and angry,   DO NOT LOCK THEM AWAY LIKE SOME MONSTER!   They need you in their life.  They need to be seen and understood, as well as accepted by the people in their lives.

A little bit of compassion could save a life.

Most cases of solitary confinement of youths are in the jails and prisons, as well as juvenile detention centers,  but there are thousands if not more that are detained in such a manners at the behest of their guardians.    
If you know a child in this situation,  speak out, and loudly.   They need you to fight for them because they do not yet know how to fight for themselves.

There are support groups out there for anyone who might need it.
